A vision of 24/7/365 prayer in all 83 counties of Michigan as Transformation Michigan transforms the prayer movement in our state.
The vision of 24/7 day and night prayer/praise/worship will grow in strength as the gatherings assemble around our state. God has already placed this “seed of vision” in many and as grace and favor is released from an open window of heaven the reality manifests.
Connecting and networking the body of Christ is the key. Prayer is an area which can bring unity and oneness (Psalm 133) that will bring the commanded blessing we so much need at this time. There are 83 counties in our state that have small and large churches, home churches, prayer group gatherings, Christian focus groups, youth groups, marketplace leaders, etc. Some counties have a university with Christian campus groups and even prisons where a population exists that have Christians within them.
The opportunity is before us for the body to network and connect around prayer. We must let the churches and groups maintain their identity and not try to make them into something they are not. Let each of us assist each other in the vision implanted within us by God.
THE PRAYER CLOSET WILL BE THE KEY FOR 24/7 DAY AN NIGHT PRAYER
“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” (Matthew 6:6)
Prayer will arise in Michigan 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year because individuals will be stirred to pray in their prayer closets. Sustaining such an effort is quite a challenge especially within a smaller locality. Some who have attempted to birth a 24/7 have fallen short and felt frustration. That seed of vision is still within them and will now see a fulfillment because the body of Christ will network as one. When individuals personally wait on the Lord and seek Him in that secret place God will intervene.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (Psalm 91:1-2)
CONNECTING THE DOTS AND NETWORKING IN DAY AND NIGHT PRAYER
Large and small churches across denominational lines and racial divides; home churches; youth groups; legislators; Christian prayer focus groups, universities, houses of prayer and those who enter into their prayer closet – can combine their influence to make 24/7 possible in our state. No ownership or banner will fly over it but a co-laboring mentality where we pay deference to one another. God will receive the glory! Some may ask – is this possible?
