Newsletter for July 23rd 2014

Now is the time…to identify 1 to 5 praying groups in the state of Michigan in each County. The refresh button has been hit and I need your help to make this a reality as this prayer mission began in April 2006. Pieces are in place and technology is available to see the fruits of many years of labor. What is manifesting here is also taking place throughout America. We will be joining other states thanks to the inspiration of national leaders such as Lou Engle.

We will literally connect a day and night “Moravian Prayer Watch” in all of Michigan’s 83 counties – starting with the night watch. I will be sending out personal emails, doing Facebook posts, making this appeal through newsletters, and conference speaking invites.

NOTE:  Just received contacts in Manistee, Mecosta, Charlevoix and LeeLanau Counties.

A praying group can be a literal house of prayer where many gathered together in a location; it can be where two or three are gathered in a home; or within a church where there is a focused prayer group. The common denominator between all of us is that we believe that prayer will birth divine intervention and there is no human remedy for what we are facing as a state and a nation. We all desire to preserve a future for our children and grandchildren.

We are looking at committing to one hour per week where you can be part or designate someone in your prayer group to pray with other individuals in counties across our state. We realize that a pastor or ministry leader of a church or prayer group can be very busy. This is why you can assign a prayer designate to participate in your behalf.

The personal mission and vision that you carry whether it is a church, ministry, or personal ministry will not be affected. You will keep your identity but just be asked to join with others who carry the same spiritual prayer DNA because of the challenging times that we are presently in. You will not be asked to pay any type of membership fee to be part or come under another ministry umbrella. Many of you are already covered in this area.

We will be using conference call technology and setting up a schedule where three or four different alternating counties will be praying together for that one hour. All we need is one designated person for any particular prayer ministry in that County but others in your group can call in as well. This will take some administration and organization but it can be done. As we further improve the technology we will also be able to use Google hangout video. This will enable us to develop relationship with one another.

Every watch time may be different due to the changing seasons we have entered into. There must be freedom to hear from the Lord in what needs to be prayed into. There will be times will we pray for abortion, governmental issues, international issues, a crisis that is developing, warnings that we’re hearing about prophetically, the homosexual agenda, state issues, regional issues… I hope you get the picture. We all carry burdens that are close to our hearts.

MICHOP – The Michigan Capitol House of Prayer in Lansing was about to go into the “red” and not meet our lease payment for July.  The good news…people responded and small and large donors stepped forward to give one time and monthly pledges which has covered 85% of our monthly needs for one year.

Transformation MI Ministry Expense – We were blessed where one donor stepped forward that has covered our expenses into the next 3 months. We ordered 10,000 Pray Gay Initiative bookmarks with these funds. The distribution has began. Other small gifts came in as well to help us pay insurances, car repairs, gasoline expense, phone/internet and other ministry related expenses.

We have had $1,200.00 come in for the next printing of 15,000 copies. We need $8,800.00 more. We will add 2 chapters.  “What Does it Mean to  Vote Biblically” and “Defending Traditional Marriage”.

I need a paid assistant that can schedule times, make coordination calls, overseeing the grid to connect 83 counties in MI for a day and night prayer watch. We have an individual who can do this for our state. Finances are needed so I can reward this person who will do this tedious task.

We presently have a treasurer whose husband is an accountant.  I need to reward them with an offering each month as well for the hours that are put in as our ministry and outreaches are growing.

NOTE:  We have other volunteers as well who do our newsletters and design for materials we produce. Pray that a large donor would be able to help me to bless these assistants that are so vital to the ministry.

A financial miracle has taken place as $500,000 dollars came in 5 weeks to pay off that facility with the leadership of Pastor Trey Hancock. Banks would not refinance after a land contract expired. Trey was given a word that God would provide so do not make any more attempts to refinance through a banking institution. God is Jehovah Jireh!
