It never ceases to amaze me the impact of disunity. We have many who are leading spheres of influence who have not learned the damage disunity can cause. The Bible is so clear when it says why do you bite and devour one another? Our enemies understand unity better than the church. There is power in unity. We can only accomplish so much on our own, but together we can create a movement that brings tangible change and creates a future of hope. The most common definition of unity is a state of being undivided or oneness. “Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is one Lord,” Deuteronomy 6:4.

The word “ONE” in that scripture is a compound unity. More can be accomplished by a team with a common goal than by individuals. We must understand what unity in our diversity is as well! Diversity means understanding that everyone is unique and recognizing our individual differences. If we keep focused on the common goal to win this current battle the victory will be ours!

What must we be aware of as the enemy attempts to divide us? Several nights ago, we talked about the motives and intentions of the heart. Why are we doing what we’re doing? Are we leading a ministry or a cause for self-promotion or personal gain? The battle we are engaging in presently is to preserve a nation and our freedoms. We must lay down all personal self-ambitions at this time! We must examine ourselves! Unity is needed for survival. As we all know unity protects us from all the evil doings, hence we people should help each other and together we should fight and face the evil and negative things, when we stand together only then we get freedom from all kinds of negativity and attacks upon us.

“But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. (Galatians 5: 15-17)
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.” (1 Corinthians 12:12)
