For Christians, human life is sacred and is a gift from God which is to be respected and protected. This teaching is called the sanctity of life. The Bible teaches that human beings are created in the image of God. … Christians also believe that only God should choose when life begins and ends. Those who hold a strong sanctity of life view are against all non-religious views that try to dilute or weaken the status of life. Pro-life/Strong sanctity of life followers argue there is no exception, and a life cannot be taken as the soul is a sacred gift from God.

The sanctity-of-life is not a doctrine of the basic human right to life since it is a virtue-ethical concept and not a rights concept. Sanctity-of-life does not simply refer to a value of biological existence, but to a spiritual and virtue-ethical way of how to use one’s own physical existence. Human life is sacred, made in the very image of the Creator himself (Genesis 1:26-27) and a gift for all.

Is it possible that the 65 million+ abortions in our nation is the root cause for all the challenges, difficulties and evil that is upon the land? I say yes! If America is to survive, the shedding of innocent blood must end. Life in the womb is a moral absolute which no Christian can deny.

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1: 26-27)

“You created every part of me; you put me together in my mother’s womb.” This teaches that God knows all about each person in minute detail, as He has created each one of us. Our souls began life long before we were actually born.” (Psalm 139:13-16)

“These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.” (Proverbs 6: 16-19)
