Day 336 October 6 2021

We are in a time of sustaining faith. Sustain means to strengthen or support physically or mentally. How can one’s faith be sustained? Trust in God and in His willingness to provide help when needed, no matter how challenging the circumstance. We must continue to believe in the office of the prophet and what has been prophesied. Another principle is to obey His commandments and live to demonstrate that He can trust you. We must also be sensitive to the quiet prompting of the Spirit. What is He speaking to you? Remember, good works will always follow sustaining faith. We must act courageously on that prompting from the Holy Spirit.

We must learn to accept His will with peace and assurance, confident that His infinite wisdom surpasses our own ability to comprehend fully His plan as it unfolds a piece at a time. His plan is unfolding for our nations preservation and His timing will be honored through sustaining faith.

Never forget that God has promised us rest for our labors, grace for our trials, light for our path, unfailing sympathy when heartache comes and unconditional, undying love.

In these difficult times how do we keep our faith sustained? Pray and ask God for the strength to reach your full potential. Always be generous to others and surround yourself with people of like mind. Start off each morning making declarations of what you are hoping for. Whenever you pray you must believe what you declare is having an impact. There is life and death in the words that you speak so realize as a believer in Jesus Christ you carry great authority. Finally, build yourself up in the word of God!

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11)

“So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)
