On April 17, 1952, President Harry Truman signed a bill proclaiming the National Day of Prayer into law in the United States. President Reagan amended the law in 1988, designating the first Thursday of May each year as the National Day of Prayer. The National Prayer Committee was formed in the United States in 1972. Some have said it is “Unconstitutional”…but the Congress, by Public Law 100-307, as amended, has called on the President to issue each year a proclamation designating the first Thursday in May as a “National Day of Prayer

Praying on site is a critical aspect for the intercession praying remnant movement. Much is at stake in this governmental mountain as we see the SCOTUS leak regarding the overturning of Roe v Wade; the release of the proof of fraud in the election through the movie “2000 Mules”; evil being exposed at all levels of government; the threats to destroy our Constitutional Republic; personal and religious freedoms; vaccine mandates; fear put upon society by the fake news; and threats to stamp out free speech. Our clarion call must be to choose freedom!

There is a battle between light and darkness and the National Day of Prayer is a force to be reckoned with if we engage wholeheartedly in unity, passion, purpose, with the authority given to us from on High, making our appeals to heaven for God to intervene into human affairs. Make a point to go out on Thursday at noon to pray around any governmental building in your county…or of course join any planned prayer proceedings.

“Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, (1 Timothy 2:1-3)

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.” (Isaiah 2:2)
