Tonight’s Call – COREY SHANKLETON…UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES!!!

Spiritual War and Great Awakening’s always results in an attempt by the enemy of our souls to cause division and discord. This is a main tactic to defeat us! We must stay unified as the potential for infighting increases immensely. As we near the victory it always intensifies. If members in a group fight against one another, the group will fall apart. We see this in church quite often. Obviously in this present-day political climate we can say it is off the charts. The solution of course is love, servant hood, and giving people the benefit of the doubt. Strong personalities can come into conflict. Manipulation and control can factor into relationships very subtly. Then there is a spirit of competition as well. Why was Lucifer cast out of heaven? He wanted to be god!

We must ask ourselves in these situations why we are doing what we are doing. We are either serving ourselves or have a heart attitude of serving others. The body of Christ has many members, and we must recognize the varying gifts it carries. We must uplift one another and co-labor. This is a process we must implement to survive this onslaught of our spiritual enemies…. especially in this season. Christ said to deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24-26) and this correlates with the Word where it says to look on other people’s interest ahead of our own (Philippians 2: 3-4).

Unity must be a key prayer target! Without it we will fail. God will command the blessing upon His church and our nation if we unify…Psalm 133. May we all do our part. Do not allow fear, anxiety, frustration, despair, discouragement or any internal or external pressure distract us. We have been called for such a time as this!

Stay the course and hold the line…our victory is so close!

“Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. Therefore, his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.” (Proverbs 6: 14-15)

“But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!” (Galatians 5: 15)

“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” (Matthew 12:25)
