We can all agree that TRANSFORMATION and CHANGE must manifest in individuals, the church, gateways of society, and our nation in this season of time. We must see a profound change take place throughout our culture. Transformation is the process of changing. An example of a transformation is a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Can our nation be brought back from evil and the depths of depravity to a righteous state that will incorporate a Biblical worldview? It seems impossible at times but with God nothing is impossible.
We need change now or all will be lost. Change is a response to external influences, where modifying day-to-day action achieves desired results. We have talked redundantly about being a people of prayer and action. We must respond through action steps to stand for life in the womb, traditional marriage, integrity in our elections, personal and religious freedoms. There is a price to pay to be part in birthing TRANSFORMATION in our nation!
Transformation is about modifying core beliefs and long-term behaviors to achieve the desired results. What is Transformation?
TRANSFORMATION: It is a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance in individuals and cultural gateways of society. It is a total change by the renewing of the mind. It is a complete change for the better. A complete change for the better is not conforming but transforming; being changed into a new creation. The change for the better is to prove, to test, to examine and see that the perfect will of God is good…especially when implemented throughout a culture.
We are involved in the conflict of the ages. God always utilizes a “remnant” that is committed to his purposes throughout generations. A notable national prophet had stated that only 10% of the body of Christ will respond and resonate to what God is doing in the earth today. This is called the “remnant principle”. This remnant can create a tipping point that will transform America and birth a “Great Awakening”. Small is the next big! We are identifying that remnant in Michigan and will join with other states in our nation that will be an ecclesia ruling body of authority. his remnant in Michigan must have a “koinonia” relationship. We must develop a relational unity which is based on love for one another, fellowship, sharing and breaking of bread together as we do on our call each night.
Point to Ponder: “When we calmly reflect upon the fact that the progress of our Lord’s Kingdom is dependent upon prayer, it is sad to think that we give so little time to the holy exercise. Everything depends upon prayer, and yet we neglect it not only to our own spiritual hurt, but also to the delay and injury of our Lord’s cause upon earth. The forces of good and evil are contending for the world. Had there been importunate, universal, and continuous prayer by God’s people, long ere this, the earth had been possessed for Christ.” – E.M. Bounds.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2)
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18)
