TONIGHT’S CALL – JUBILEE – PROCLAIM LIBERTY THROUGHOUT THE LAND! CINDY CARSWELL

The Jubilee is the year at the end of seven cycles of shmita (Sabbatical years) and, according to biblical regulations. This September 24th is the end of a 7-year cycle and is very significant as you see world events unfold. Recently, in this year’s Jubilee we saw Roe v Wade overturned in America. There has been tremendous exposure of the corruption and lies that has taken over our culture and our nation. God is on the move, and we are in the process of seeing America transformed. Some are saying something significant is going to manifest on September 24 or the 25th. It remains to be seen but we know God is working behind the scenes as this is a significant day of the calendar of God… Rosh Hashanah.

When does Rosh Hashanah officially begin? Rosh Hashanah 2022 begins on Sunday, September 25, 2022, and ends on the evening of Tuesday, September 27, 2022. The exact date of Rosh Hashanah varies every year, since it is based on the Hebrew Calendar, where it begins on the first day of the seventh month.

JUBILEE YEAR 2022

Ultimately, Jubilee reminds us that we worship and follow a God who brings freedom. What we see in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is Jubilee’s objective of release from sin, restoration with God and resetting for all of creation taking on human form. Jubilee comes from the Hebrew word yōbhēl, referring to a ram’s horn that was used as a trumpet. This instrument, called a shofar, was used to mark Jewish religious occasions, including the one observed every 50 years and known as the Year of Jubilee.

In Leviticus 25, we find the first reference to Jubilee, as part of the law given by Yahweh to the Israelites. These verses describe God’s intent that the Israelites should remain free from slavery for all time by instituting a Sabbath year every seven years. May we apply our nation to the principles spoken above. America will be set free in the future for our children and grandchildren will be preserved.

NOTE: The current Shmita year is 2021–2022 or Anno mundi 5782 in Hebrew calendar. The next Shmita cycle will be in 2028-2029, year 5789 in Hebrew calendar.

“And you shall hallow the fiftieth year. You shall proclaim release throughout the land for all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you: each of you shall return to his holding and each of you shall return to his family.” (Leviticus 25:10)
