Tonight’s Call – MARK GURLEY WITH MARION SHERIDAN…ELECTION PROTOCOL UPDATES!

God is raising up spiritual and physical trail blazers. The older generation must pave the way for the younger generation and leave a legacy for them to follow. Have you ever seen a relay race where they pass the baton? We are passing the baton of religious and personal freedom to the younger generation. The older generation has dropped the baton and done a bad job where we are now trying to pick up the pace. God’s grace is allowing us to catch up and we are passing the baton. What is a trailblazer?

TRAILBLAZER: A person who blazes a trail for others to follow through unsettled country or wilderness; pathfinder. a pioneer in any field of endeavor. a trailblazer in cultural gateways in our society.

Also, a trailblazer is a person who is the leader in a particular field, especially who does a particular thing before anyone else does. They are visionaries who see the need of the present day and are willing to charge forward in uncharted territory no matter the cost. They carry a vision where transformation can be accomplished in our nation and see the need to preserve a future for our children and grandchildren. Each of us has been called to be a trailblazer for our family to influence them to God’s righteousness and purposes to advance his kingdom. Will there be opposition? Of course, as the word of God says blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’s sake. We still move on unwavering and undaunted even though there are lows and highs on the path. As leaders, they point the way, take the risks, and change the environment. They have a vision for a different future, a faith that turns their dreams into reality, and a determination that cuts through barriers and obstacles.

Those who went before, to mark and improve the route, were the forerunners. They were “the scouts, the pioneers, the ones sent before a king to prepare the way,” as forerunner is defined. Recall Daniel Boone and his party of thirty expert woodsmen laying out a 200-mile-long route. Over time, as more people came over the trail, it was improved, widened, and smoothed. It all began, however, with one man. That man then led others, and it multiplied from there.

John the Baptist was one man “crying in the wilderness,” yet he prepared the way for the Son of God. Each of us, in our daily lives, interacts with family, coworkers, neighbors, and others who may know little or nothing of God and His Word. Our words and deeds could well pave the way for any of them to answer God’s call at another time. Each of us has opportunities to set an example that will affect their lives, hopefully in a positive way. In this way, each of us is a forerunner, marking and improving the trail through the conduct of our lives.

The Bible is full of trailblazers. Look at the life of Moses, Ruth, Esther, Daniel, as mentioned above John the Baptist, the 12 apostles, and of course the greatest one of all Jesus Christ who came, died, and rose again. We each have a calling and destiny and the spiritual gifts that God has provided us enable us to be able to carry out our Divine purposes as we live here on this earth. Isn’t it good to know in these challenging times the place where God has called us?

STAY THE COURSE AND HOLD THE LINE!!!
