Tonight’s Call – PATRICK COLBECK…OPERATION OVER WATCH…LIVING WITHOUT FEAR!

We are born for such a time as this. Look at Esther who was called out by Mordecai as the threat for the destruction of her people was made evident. Esther saves her people, brings about the downfall of their enemy, and elevates her kinsman to the highest position in the kingdom. The book of Esther offers us an example of how imperfect, yet faithful people can continue to live faithfully in a culture that does not acknowledge God. Look at America today and the assault on our Christian beliefs and freedoms. God is calling us to rise and have no fear of the consequences.

God is equipping modern day heroes of the faith. Hebrews 11 is often called the faith chapter. It describes how various people responded in faith to what God said to them. But these stories are not told as historical trivia — they encourage us to have faith in our challenges of this day. Hebrew 11 is filled with men and women whose moral and spiritual failings, depravity, sin, and faith give us great hope that only through Christ, in Christ and because of Christ are we accepted into the Kingdom of God. We must never underestimate ourselves as the strength of Christ is in us and equips us for any battle. We are being given an opportunity to be installed into the book of faith doing exploits within the sphere of influence God has given us. Fear will always be the main obstacle before us.

God wants us to be filled with hope and trust, not fear. He has given us hope through the promise that he can uphold us by his strength today. And he has also promised those who have faith in Jesus Christ for their salvation a life of eternity with him. The Bible instructs us to not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done” (Philippians 4:6). Not only are we taught to not worry or fear, but we are also told what to do instead of worrying: PRAY!

By taking the following steps you can consistently overcome fear in difficult situations and tests:

Read, study, meditate on the Word of God and trust in God and His Word.
Remember WHO you are and WHOSE you are.
Examine yourself.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you.
Encourage yourself…make declarations.
Refuse to speak curses over your life…may the Lord rebuke any attacks upon you.

So, seek the Lord and ask Him what you can do this day to turn back the tide of evil in our nation. Stay the course and hold the line!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” (Philippians 4:13)

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.” (Isaiah 41:10)

We did a nightly call (See Below) on the importance of building a “24/7 Prayer Watch” due to the importance of the upcoming elections and other challenges we are facing.
