Tonight’s Call – CATHERINE ENGLEBRECHT FOUNDER OF TRUE THE VOTE…2000 MULES!

We must realize we will go through times where weariness and frustration attempts to overtake you. Have you ever seen an overloaded circuit which began to get very hot? When you unplug some of the connections to the outlet everything begins to cool down. There are times where we can be plugged into so many things that can cause an overload which can make non-ineffective. This is always something we can face in times of intense spiritual warfare. Many times we have to take some time to ourselves just to regroup. Seeking the Lord for strength is key to re-energize.

I recently was approached by someone who said to me how you can keep going at the pace you are presently keeping. He did not know at the time I was facing an overloaded circuit. Therefore we must pick and choose the right opportunities and strategies to be engaged in. We must be sure we stay on the path that Christ is calling us to. The enemy will always try to wear us out with good things. Well, we need the Lord to show us the best things to pursue. We are called to be disciples of Christ obviously and souls for the kingdom must always be the foundational reason why we do what we do.

Being a disciple of Jesus is hard. He said we must daily take up our cross and die to ourselves. He calls us to serve, love, and look to the interest of others. Following Jesus yields immeasurable joy, but we can also grow weary from day to day. We can expect weariness the present spiritual battle our nation is in, parenting, weary in serving, weary in trials and affliction. When we’re weary, we can find fresh strength, joy, and motivation in Christ.

None of us are immune to the attacks of the enemy so pray for those who are leading the charge. I believe every one of us involved in our nightly calls have been given a Divine set of instructions to carry out in our sphere of influence. May you all be strengthened by the Lord! Stay the course and hold the line!

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11: 28:30)

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;” (Isaiah 40:28-30)

We did a nightly call (See Below) on the importance of building a “24/7 Prayer Watch” due to the importance of the upcoming elections and other challenges we are facing.
