Tonight’s Call – SHIFT CHANGE AND THE MUSHROOM PYRAMID!
A Divine shift is a supernatural move from one place to another; a slight change in position or direction; the supernatural act of putting one thing in the place of another or changing the place of a person or thing. In any Divine shift we must adapt, adjust, and change. We are instructed to be transformed and changed into likeness and image of Christ in Romans 12:2, the Lord directs us to not be conformed to this world. Even small shifts can change our perspective. It Allows us to see things in a new light. For example, many of us have a picture of what we want and expect Jesus to be, but if we allow ourselves to shift our perspective, we can see a God who is so much more than what we think.
As we view the world today a supernatural shift is well underway. This generation will witness moments that will absolutely shift lives everywhere. The effects will be widely felt all over the world. Historically for our nation 9/11 was certainly one of those moments of shifting. You remember where you were when the towers fell. This was an impact moment. Depending on your age you may remember well the fall of the Berlin wall or the JFK assassination which caused shifts in many lives. As we look at 2020 with the election fraud, Covid, lockdowns, masks, social distancing, and attack on our religious freedom certainly impacted all of us. Reflect on the fear it caused. This got the church’s attention. A remnant church rose up and others fell by the wayside.
When a shift takes place, we must be willing to move with the Holy Spirit. Are we prepared for the shift that is manifesting? Are you positioned at this time where the Lord can use you to be part in the “Great Awakening” of souls in our nation. The harvest is coming in! Those who are in the Word and prayer realize what is taking place where we are in a massive worldwide change or reset. It is undeniable that God is up to something. A “SUPERNATURAL” shift is well underway. We will not return to the normal we once knew. This is a good thing as a new CHURCH WINE SKIN” is being formed. We must not look back but move forward. So, follow the pillar of cloud by day and be protected by the fire by night. – stay the course and hold the line.
“Do not remember former things, nor consider things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you now know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43: 18-19)

Because bad dads get a lot of press these days, it is difficult for many to view God as a father. In our society of fractured families, far too many grow up with a weekend only fathers or no fathers at all. Since even the best earthly dads have moments when they get impatient or preoccupied, the idea of God as a Father takes a good bit of imagination, and even more faith. So, it helps to remember that God is a perfect Father, a Father unaffected by human frailties. He is 100% loved and motivated by His glory and our good 100% of the time. As the one who gave the world a 30-year show and tell of who and what God is (John 1:18), Jesus made it clear that our heavenly Father fanatically cares about us. He keeps up with the tiniest details of our lives (Matthew 10:29-31). He invites our conversation (Matthew 6:9) and is always eager to hear about our needs and concerns, both mundane and significant. Unlike finite and flawed earthly fathers, our heavenly Father is never too busy, never stressed out, and never self-absorbed.
And like the best in Wise’s dance, He disciplines, or He corrects, not punishes us when we need it. He knows what we were created for, where we need to go, and where our character flaws are. With all that in mind, He trains us in a way of living that will directly benefit us in the long run (Hebrews 12:9). God the father is protected. He wants to shield us from evil and keep us safe. He is tender. We can count on Him to make our hard situations better. He is strong. We can run to Him and hide in His arms, confident that everything will be alright. Mostly, our heavenly Father wants to have an intimate relationship with His children. He wants us to know and trust His heart. He wants to celebrate the joys of life with us, and to hold us while we grieve. If you grew up with a father who was consistently there for you, let that earthly dad point you to the Father was beyond good and if you grew up without a good father, let that experience drive you to ABBA, the One who perfectly meets the deepest needs and desires of our hearts.
QUESTION: How do you relate to God as a father?
“Because you are His sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ABBA, Father.” (Galatians 4:6)
