Tonight’s Call – DON’T MESS WITH MY KIDS!
Children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord, offspring, a reward. No doubt about it: children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a divine reward. Children too are a gift from Adonai; the fruit of the womb is a reward. God holds children in the highest esteem. If He does, should we not? Again, Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. We as parents and grandparents must be good stewards over them!
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep. Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.” (Psalm 127:1-5)
STEWARD: The definition of steward in the Bible lends itself to the idea of an “overseer” or “manager” over someone else’s matters. In Genesis 15:2, the original Hebrew word for “steward” is `al bayith, which literally means “man over the house.”
Children have significance in God’s plan and there are numerous Bible verses about children being a blessing. The account of Jesus taking the children in His arms is recorded several times in the Bible. We can follow Jesus’ example by showing a child that he or she has value in our eyes and in the eyes of God. Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there. — (Matthew 19:13-14)
Do you see why now how abortion and the shedding of innocent blood is to God? God’s Word also contains several Scriptures on the importance of protecting children. Jesus calls us to care for children and not send them away as insignificant. Children are valuable to Him! In many cultures around the world, children are often abused, neglected and discarded. They may be sold for profit into the sex industry or sold as slaves to work in horrible conditions. Jesus has committed children into our arms of protection.
“A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.” (Proverbs 13:22)
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)
It is a tremendous blessing to love, serve, and protect the most vulnerable in this world and share God’s love with them. He’s the greatest Protector of all. Parents rise up. Our kids must be protected.Nobody will mess with my kids should be our clarion call.
Kids are being attacked and assaulted from too many angles:
LGBTQ+ indoctrination
Pornography
Elimination of Parental Rights
Abortion
Pandemics
One in five Gen-Z self-identify as LGBTQ+
Pornography in our school libraries
Just to name a Few…there are lots more….
God is asking each of us to use our voice in this hour. We must come together as a people of this Nation and cry out to God in this hour to Heal our Land! What we don’t get victory over, our children will battle! We cannot remain at our dining tables drinking coffee. We need to Take Action!
2 Chronicles 7:14-15 – “And my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
We as parents and grandparents must rise up and make our voices heard. You may ask where…school boards, libraries, elections, your sphere of influence. Will there be persecution at times? Yes! Blessed Are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake.
