Tonight’s Call – ELECTION UPDATES – COLBECK!
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT – BE STRONG !It was said the month of July was going to be a momentous time. The prophets were not wrong! We must be strong in these times and not be weary or shrink back. The fake news will have a tendency to wear a person down. This week will be emphasizing walking by faith and not by sight. Let’s take a look at Joshua and his army as he attacked Jericho. The Lord told him to set aside their battlefield skills. Instead of using their strength, they were simply to walk around the city. When we go literally to the governmental Mountain and pray inside and outside of the Capitol building we are mimicking what Joshua did. This upcoming Thursday we have prayer in room 426 in the state capitol building in Lansing at 10 AM. On August 25 Sean Feucht will be holding a massive prayer and worship gathering on the front lawn of the state capitol building in Lansing – from 3 to 5 PM. The church is being given the opportunity to take back our governmental Mountain.
“The Lord said to Joshua, see, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all the middle war going around the city once. The show you do for six days..” (Joshua 6: 2-3) –
In the end, there was no confusion among the people; God, not man, is responsible for the victory. Just as he had asked Joshua to do a Jericho, the Lord set aside his own strength at Calvary. In Christ, God showed a different kind of strength altogether – the strength of justice in Divine Mercy. As we look at history, during World War II, Great Britain endured the horrors of the German blitzkrieg. Bombs rained down on the island nation day after day. In the middle of all this, Winston Churchill gave a speech including the famous line: “Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never.” As the carnage of war piled up around Churchill, the world watched to see if he meant what he had said. Does he merely speak courageously, or would you live with courage, too? History now remembers Churchill for doing exactly what he encouraged his people to do. Despite the great adversities he faced, Churchill never, never, never gave in.
Though it was not wartime, Joshua sent some of his most trusted men on a dangerous mission. They were to survey the land that God had promised to them, a land still inhabited by the enemies of Israel. The prophetic voices are our spies today and we are receiving instruction on what to do.
“So the men arose and went, and Joshua charged those who went to write the description of the land, saying, go up and down in the land and write a description and return to me. And I will cast lots for you here before the Lord in Shiloh.” (Joshua 18:8)
Prophetic voices of today are giving us marching orders to never give in and decree, declare and shout out God’s promises for our nation. Some of these men in Joshua’s time walked through the land in dread; they feared that God’s plans were as shaky as her own hearts. Others walk through the land in faith; they trusted in God’s ability to do what he had promised to do. We must be encouraged to walk by faith and not by sight. A number of intercessors are experiencing battle fatigue. Fatigue, in particular, precedes dangerous mistakes. We must not make that mistake as we are watchmen on the wall. Joshua knew how to walk strong in his faith. As the time came for them to turn over the reins of leadership, Joshua shared a vital piece of wisdom with God’s people.
“Only be very careful to observe the commandment in the law that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all of his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Joshua 22:5)
when you notice your steps awakening, stop immediately for prayer. Ask you Lord to draw near, to straighten you through his word of grace and promise. We must not trust in our own abilities. We must stop immediately and cling to the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, He alone is strong, and He alone can give us the ability to walk with confidence over the treacherous times we are presently experiencing. The battle is the Lord’s and we will see victory. Stay the course… Hold the line!

BIBLE IS TRUE DEVOTIONAL SERIES…BRUCE MALONE
PERFECT HARMONY
PROPHECY – God left us with many evidences to show that His Word is true, but prophecy is one of the strongest. More than 25% of the Bible is prophecy. God set a stringent standard on prophecy: it must be hundred percent accurate, or the prophecy is not of God. This is a unique characteristic of the Bible, not found in the Veda (Hindu writings), the Koran (Islam’s holy book), or any of the other writings of mankind. The so-called prophecies of Nostradamus, Jeanne Dixon, and others are of a completely different class than the Bible. Not only are these prophecies vague (leaving the possibility of being interpreted to fit numerous events), but more often than not the predictions of the future proved to be wrong. Biblical prophecies, however, are both specific and accurate.
When we hold the Bible, we are holding a collection of 66 books written over a period of about 1500 years by more than 40 authors. Yet this book reveals a single coordinated message. The Bible repeatedly authenticates his uniqueness by describing history in exact detail before it happens. How else could God authenticate his message and prove that He created everything and inspire the Bible? God is not subject to constraints of time anymore then He is subject to constraints of mass, gravity, or acceleration. He knows all of history before it happens. Prophecy is merely God’s demonstration that because He is the creator, He is outside of time. The prophecy of the Bible is proof of this fact.
“You may say to yourselves, how can we know that the message has not been spoken by the Lord? If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken.” (Deuteronomy 18:21-22)
