Tonight’s Call – BIBLE READ A THON!
You cannot have a great victory without a great battle. Never forget we have been chosen to be part of this. We must embrace this as an opportunity. We must realize many are going through stress and anxiety levels. Should we allow this to affect us in this battle we are in? The most courageous individuals in battle already consider themselves dead. Are we not dead already and not to live by fear but by faith?
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:30)
ANXIETY LEVELS:
–-Election anxiety: According to a poll, 73% of adults are anxious about the 2024 election. Some say that the election is triggering because people can’t control the outcome, even if they support the candidate they’re voting for.
–Economic struggles: 77% of adults are anxious about the economy.
–Gun violence: 69% of adults are anxious about gun violence
–Mental health in the workplace: Anxiety is the top issue among American workers, according to a ComPsych analysis.
–Mental distress in college students: According to a Wiley report, 80% of college students surveyed in the US and Canada experienced some degree of mental distress due to the pandemic.
–Mental health in youth: According to Mental Health America, 20.17% of youth ages 12-17 reported suffering from at least one major depressive episode in the past year.
What about the Trump assassination attempts; threat of WW 3; election fraud; blackouts; internet disruption and other health threats? We must anchor ourselves in Christ!!!
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.”. . . . “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 14:1; 16:33)

ECOLOGY – The hand of our creator can be seen in the design of the giant fungus Armilliaria. This huge organism has been measured covering 38 acres and weighing as much as a blue whale. Scientists estimate that some of these organisms have been alive for 1500 years-based on our current rate of growth. Like most fungi, the Armelliarea is made up of tiny tendrils drawing almost invisibly underground. The tendrils push small fruiting honey mushrooms above ground as evidence of the larger organism alive below the surface.
Armillarias are usually found in the hardwood forests of North America. The giant fungus is territorial, which means that no two individuals will share the same area. Fudgy are critically important components of forest ecology which decompose deadwood, releasing nutrients needed by other plants. In the decomposition process, the fudgy also produces carbon dioxide, which is then used by plants to produce oxygen needed by humans. It takes great faith to believe this organized system for maintaining forest ecology, each part dependent for life upon the other parts, could have evolved by chance random mutations over huge periods of time.
