Day 1643 May 5 – SET THE CAPTIVES FREE

A number of times I had indicated how important it is to start your day reading the Word of God. Forget and put down all the emails, Facebook posts, text messages, phone calls to make, current news, and chores or household duties. Start your day reading the Word. It is said do this for 21 days and you will form a habit. I was guilty of all of the above and now am set free as my last 50 days I have began my day differently. Freedom comes through God‘s Word. tI is the manna or bread of life!

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32 (KJV)

It is amazing how many people like to quote this verse. Even unsaved people who don’t acknowledge God use it. The problem is that many people, even some believers, don’t understand what it is saying. As a result, they actually misuse and mis-apply it. Many people use this verse to say that when you know the truth about a certain situation or circumstance, it will make you free. That is not correct. They take the verse out of context, which alters its meaning. The truth in reference is not truth in general, but the Truth. Jesus is the Truth, and the Word is the Truth. If we include the verse immediately preceding it, we see what is meant.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32 (KJV)

The Word and Jesus and Truth can all be used interchangeably because they are one and the same. We see this in the following verses.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17 (KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God….And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:1, 14 (KJV)

When we spend time in the Word, it is not wasted. We gain truth from its pages. And we know Jesus by spending time in the Word, since He and the Word are one. And when we are in the Word, we receive the only truth that sets us free.

If you have been struggling with something and you need deliverance, this post is for you. Quit trying to find freedom on your own, and get in the Word, and you will find that freedom will come to you. We don’t have to struggle and strive to get free from a habit or addiction. Focus on the Word and not on your problem. If you commit to spending quality time in the Bible, one day you will realize the thing you needed to be free from is no longer holding you captive. When we get in the Word, it transforms us and changes us in ways nothing else can. The world’s programs and behavior modification strategies mean well, but they don’t deliver. Only the truth of Jesus Christ, found in the midst of His Word has the power to set you free.

30 DAYS OF INTENSITY – CHUCK PIERCE (4/11/25 – PRAY DAILY!

After 10 days of the Lord waking me up at two A.M. and not allowing me to go back to sleep. Finally, on the 10th day I said, Lord, why are you waking me up? He said I am waking you up. So you wake up. And it was as if since that time when he said that last Friday, I am awake, and my eyes are open to things I couldn’t see. And what I want to say to you is that April 12th through June 1 (that starts tomorrow) becomes the key turning redemptive time for us to see great manifestations of God moving forward, but know the enemy has many plans.

And the Lord showed me this 30 days of intensity between April 20th and then May 20th. And he said, my people, I am calling to stand in the midst of that intensity and I will come down and start visiting in ways I have not visited America. And then he said, and I will show you and I’ll send something out starting on April 13th, I will show you how to really count the OMER this year that begins April the 13th through June the first. Now, why am I saying this? I want us to know at this Passover that we are being called into an intense walk. And the Lord is saying to each of us, stay the course during this time. Stay the course during this time. Don’t deviate to the right. Don’t go off to the left. Don’t chase after this, and don’t chase after that. Stay the course because if you say the course, I will have a new beachhead formed by June the second in this nation. The Lord said, ask me for the beachhead.

Now, what is a beachhead? That’s a place where the army finds its footing. And even though they’re worn down from the battle, they can’t be pushed back again. I want you to say I want my beachhead by June 2nd. I want it personally. I want it corporately. I want it territorially and I want it for the generations that’s coming behind me. The Lord says, I have you on a redemptive path this year. Get ready. You are going to make it.

We will produce approximately a 36 page, four-color, high-gloss, 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 booklet that can be used by churches, university campuses, and individuals to promote the pro-life cause. Presently, Michigan is a death state. We can turn this around and turn Michigan into a pro-life state where it can be called pure again. The killing of the unborn is foundational to all of our state and national problems. We need to provide knowledgeable tools to be utilized to promote the life message. We will do an initial printing of 10,000 copies. We will not charge for them but give them out freely to churches, ministries, young people, and individuals across our state. We want to impact our young people especially, youth leaders in High School and universities. Of course, the body of Christ must take the lead in churches. Congregations must be activated to share with their sphere of influence. We declare it is a new day in the Pro-Life movement in Michigan! Who will rise up and defend the unborn?
