MARIO MURILLO COMING TO MICHIGAN

It is time for me to talk to you about Michigan. Islam wants this state. The inroads it has already made are alarming. What can we do about it? For me, the answer to that question began in Flint, Michigan 20 years ago. And before this blog is over, you will see why I know I am going to see an astounding intervention here. Back 20 years ago I was holding two letters of invitation. One in each hand. We used to get letters in the mail back then. The first one was written on the finest letterhead from a church, promising a large gift for our outreach. “She wrote that she had no money to offer but promised me a great door for soul winning.” On my other hand was a handwritten letter from Geneva Spears—a great woman of God who spent nearly 30 years ministering on the streets of Flint. She was very honest. She wrote that she had no money to offer but promised me a great door for soul winning.

My heart told me to go to Flint. My head told me we needed the finances. You already know where I went. And it turned out to be greater than I could have imagined. In fact, the mayor of Flint, Michigan gave me the key to the city and proclaimed a day in honor of our ministry. But the real gift that I received was an insight into winning young Muslim men to Jesus.

There’s no doubt, the time has come for me to make use of the effectiveness He gave me all those years ago.But there is another piece to this story. Years ago I had the amazing honor of being with T. L. Osborn. Millions of souls came to Christ under his ministry. A vast number of them were in Muslim nations. How can I forget what he told me? He said the key to reaching them was signs and wonders. He told me that they respond to miracles. “But this crusade is in the timing of God to prevent a great disaster.”

So we have all the elements of an impending act of God in Howell, Michigan. I am returning to Michigan with the full force of unfinished business. But there is even one more element which makes this crusade explosive. That element is Bill and Clara Bolin who lead Floodgate Church in Howell. They are a perfect fit for Mechelle and me. Here’s why — they are from the San Francisco Bay Area, and our lives have taken such similar paths that it is almost a miracle we have not met before. But the one passion that we share most is soul winning.

Truly, all the pieces are here for the fiercest crusade ever. We have the location and we have the open door. We are in Michigan to turn the tide! And I believe that God has been preparing me for this moment for 20 years. But this crusade is in the timing of God to prevent a great disaster. Take a look at England. Freedom there is a candle in the wind. Every major city has a Muslim mayor. You can be arrested for preaching the Gospel. Your social media can get you jailed for saying anything against Islam. London has become a war zone and there is no end in sight.

We are in Michigan to turn the tide! And I believe that God has been preparing me for this moment for 20 years. As I said, everything is in place, but we lack two urgent things: Prayer and volunteers. I believe that there are men and women of God who are reading this who have a passion to be part of a historic act of God in Michigan. Pray about being one of our volunteers.
