OCTOBER 9 DAY 1800 CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS OF PRAYER!

This is not a time to let down our guard. Crisis points are still building in the U.S., highlighted by the unthinkable assassination of Charlie Kirk, perhaps the brightest emerging light in this time.

However, as the Lord always works all things for good for His people (Romans 8:28), this incomprehensible loss of such a great voice in this time, it already appears that what Charlie is accomplishing by his death is as great, or even greater than all that he accomplished in his amazing life. In fact, there are signs that his martyrdom has sparked the beginning of the last, and greatest move of God—the harvest that is the end of this age. It is that big.

Since I published my second book in 1988, The Harvest, I’ve waited almost 4 decades to see the vision I was given become a reality as the greatest ingathering of souls to the kingdom there has ever been. Signs of its approach have been increasing, and the other events I saw in the vision have been unfolding, but I waited to see the great wave of ingathering. What has begun with the assassination of Charlie Kirk may be it.

As a student of history, I think what he accomplished, and what he became in just 31 years may have been unprecedented since Jesus walked the earth. I would never say such a thing lightly, but I have not seen anything in history comparable to what’s happening now. Charlie’s leadership and wisdom was a marvel.

Many said Charlie was obviously a future president, but he seemed uninterested in political office for himself, as he already had a higher position serving the King of kings. Even so, he knew how important it was to get the right people elected to office. Charlie was likely the most-high impact worker in the last election, with spectacular results. Even President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance has said they would not likely be in office if it had not been for Charlie Kirk.

If there was anything that could have stood out as more remarkable than Charlie Kirk’s wisdom and leadership, it was his humility. That is a primary characteristic that God gives His grace to, and the grace of God was all over Charlie Kirk, and Turning Point USA that he founded.

So why would the Lord allow him to be killed? Because He needed a seed to spark the greatest harvest the world has or will ever see. It is the quality of the seed that determines the quality of the fruit, the harvest, and the Lord sowed perhaps the very best seed that He had for what is to come. Now let us be faithful to be the laborers in the harvest, to help cultivate what it will bring forth.

The fruit of Charlie Kirk’s assassination is already staggering. Since his death, applications for Turning Point Chapters that were already substantially in the hundreds, quickly swelled to over a hundred thousand. About that many came to his memorial service, with tens of millions watching it online, from all over the world. At about 6 hours long it may have also been one of the longest memorial services, but at the end we wanted it to keep going. It was one of the most anointed, God glorifying such services I’ve ever seen.

Our friend Frank Turek had the best line of the day when he said—“Charlie Kirk is not in heaven now because he gave his life for the Lord, but He’s in heaven because the Lord gave His life for Charlie.” This we must never forget—Jesus was the first martyr of Christianity, and will forever be the most important. Charlie may have died for the truth of the gospel, but Jesus is the gospel.

Every speaker honored Charlie as he deserved, but honored the Lord more. I don’t recall there having been so many high government officials at a memorial service, and almost all who spoke acknowledged Charlie Kirk as the reason they were in the position they were, spiritually and in government. I have never seen so many high government leaders so boldly proclaiming Christ as we did that day.

Charlie Kirk mobilized the youth like no one in our lifetime, or in the history I’ve studied. However, he impacted far more than the youth. After leading them to the Lord, he led them to the polls to vote. No doubt Charlie Kirk was the reason conservatives won the youth vote in the last election.

What does this mean for us? The Sunday after Charlie’s death the churches were filled with the most people since the Sunday after 911. The Sunday after 911 broke all church attendance records, the following Sunday there were less than before 911. Why? The people did not get the answers they came to church to find. We can’t let that happen with the people that are now turning to the church to find answers, and more importantly, find The Answer, Jesus. We’ve got to introduce them to the One who not only has all the answers, but Who is the Answer.

The same One Charlie Kirk acknowledged as the Source of his wisdom and knowledge, is available to everyone, and we need to follow Him to navigate these increasingly chaotic and confusing times.

Let us honor Charlie Kirk and his amazing life by following the Lord the way he followed Him. We can start by helping Turning Point USA any ways that we can. It is a worthy organization, and is already one of the most important, and best positioned, to reap the harvest that is upon us.
