Progress of the Strategy for Transformation Mi

We have initiated a 5 point plan that is being defined and refined. Review the strategy that we have been implementing throughout Michigan. We are in this together!  Click Here for more information on the Strategy God has given us.

Here is a short video of the Strategic Plan for Mi we have created Please watch Click Here for the Link

POINT TO PONDER:  “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.” – General George Patton

1.  MICHIGAN PRAYER INITIATIVE

A.  We are connecting leaders in 83 counties in Michigan in the most effective and cohesive day and night prayer movement in the history of our state — each church is able to maintain its identity and allow Christ to be the head.  Jesus said my house shall be called a “house of prayer” in Matthew 21:13.

We have studied the “Great Awakenings” of the past and discovered common denominator’s which have brought divine intervention into human affairs. We are communicating these principles to build the praying church in Michigan. Prayer is the key ingredient to bring transformation.

B.  Michigan is leading the way and we will be connecting with other states in our nation in a unified prayer movement.  The state of Virginia will be the first and then other states have indicated a willingness to follow. We desire to create a tipping point where unified prayer will be established between states that will cooperate in a John 17 unity.

C.  Praying for the unsaved is a profoundly compassionate Christian responsibility. Every great awakening throughout history was marked by individuals praying for the lost. We are activating churches throughout Michigan and encouraging pastors, ministry leaders, and individuals to make this a priority through an initiative we have launched with Bishop Larry Jackson a former national Promise Keepers speaker called breastplate prayer.

Simply, the New Testament states we are priests and Kings and can go to God in behalf of people who are lost. We’re encouraging individuals to pray for 3 unsaved family members; 3 unsaved friends; 3 unsaved coworkers/neighbors; and finally 3 three people you would never meet such as a political figure or entertainer. What would it be like if the church in Michigan grasped the importance of praying for the lost?

2.  MICHOP – MICHIGAN CAPITOL HOUSE OF PRAYER

A.  Praying for those in authority, according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4, is critical if we are to properly engage state government and the challenges it faces. We have procured a meeting facility across the street from our State Capitol Building called the Michigan Capitol House of Prayer – 322 Ottawa. (MICHOP) – MICHOP.org.

There is no other state in America that has a dedicated adjacent meeting facility that exists literally across the street from any state capitol. We have been here 3 years and are about to renew the lease for another year. From this place we have helped birth and draft legislation to stop Sharia Law in Michigan from being instituted and we are deeply engaged in this effort as I write to you.

B.  This facility will also be a beachhead until 2016 in the coming fight to preserve traditional marriage and to protect our religious freedom of speech. Professor and constitutional lawyer William Wagner of Salt and Light Global has office space in our MICHOP facility. He is leading the charge in Michigan with other state leaders to stand for religious freedom in our state and protect traditional marriage. We will partner with Brad Snavely of MI Family Forum as well.

C. MICHOP will also be taking the lead in organizing and facilitating the National Day of Prayer festivities on the Capitol steps on the first Thursday in May 2014.

3. GRASSROOTS SOLUTIONS BOOKLET

Transformation Michigan has completed a publication to activate grassroots leaders to engage the communities they live in for redemptive transformation. In this practical solutions booklet, “Solutions for Hope and Change” we describe pro-active steps to engage with seven key cultural gateways in society. Research has indicated that less than 15% of individuals understand what their purpose in life is. We’re encouraging individuals to engage the cultural sphere of influence they have been given.

The seven areas are family, church, government, business, education, media/communications and the arts/entertainment realms. National and state leaders have contributed chapters including General Boykin, Brad Snavely of Michigan Family Forum, James Muffet of CTV, Randy Hekman of One Cry, and Professor William Wagner of Salt and Light Global.

This booklet also provides insightful information on protecting and preserving the U.S. Constitution, America’s Christian history, prayer and the great awakenings, challenges that Islam brings to our nation, and do’s and don’ts for pastors so they can be encouraged to speak up clearly and confidently and legally in accord with Freedom of Speech and fidelity to God’s Word.

4. SOCIAL MEDIA ON UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES

Transformation Michigan is connecting with universities across the state of Michigan as the youth culture must be engaged more dynamically through social media. We are targeting 15 universities with a plan.  We must recapture this generation with robust and intellectually defensible conservative Christian thinking as we approach the mid-term elections.  We can do this through a more robust engagement with social media.  What is this plan?

A.  We will employ two technological social media savvy young people on each of these campuses who have Biblical worldview paradigm. We will pay them a good wage for 15 hours a week as many students on universities have part-time jobs.

B.  Each quarter cash incentives will be offered to the top three teams. At the end of the year cash incentives will also be offered to the top three teams. We will create monetary incentives for impact and production.

C.  Before we release them, we will host a retreat where we will have social media experts address them as well as those who have a deep understanding of a Biblical worldview. Relationship and fellowship between campuses will develop during this time.

D. We will also to launch blogs and blog radio programs that carry a Christian conservative message to this generation. A website that will connect universities will be created and built.

NOTE: We are looking to connect with major donors to make this a Social Media vision a reality on universities in Michigan.  We have an operational budget that will be presented upon request. Pray for Favor!

5. STATE SPEAKER SERIES

We will host a state speaker series taking national and state leaders across Michigan to inform, train, and equip Christians to rise up and face the challenges we are encountering.  This speaker series will impact regions across our state as well as University campuses. Many topical areas will be covered that will not only educate but provide solutions to bring true hope and change.
