A double-edged sword is being applied in Michigan which includes prayer and faith action solution steps to shape our culture. The Oak Initiative was birthed a few years ago and a fresh wind has now come for Oak Initiative freedom chapters to form around Michigan. National leaders are behind this effort. It is an honor and a privilege for me to invite you to attend our upcoming conference entitled, “God and Government: How Can the Church Resist the Onslaught of Tyranny in America?”, which will be held on Friday evening, April 10th and Saturday morning, April 11th at 59 West banquet hall in Highland, Michigan. There is no registration fee! I will be speaking on the topics of the continuing Constitutional crisis we are facing in America today, the very real threats that Marxism and radical Islam pose to the United States, and the approaching drumbeat of tyranny and totalitarianism. I will also address the divine mandate the body of Christ has to resist tyranny, to defend liberty, and help to ensure our survival and continued success as a free nation, with the freedom to perpetuate our faith as Christians.
I affirm together with you today the greatness and uniqueness of the United States of America, the nation that together we so dearly love. We are a nation founded on the principles of Judeo-Christian truths; a nation flowing with such abundant freedom, liberty, wealth, power, faith, hope and charity as to be unrivaled in all of human history.
We are a nation blessed by God’s unfathomable grace, and by the heavy price our forefathers willingly paid so we can live as we do; one nation, under God, a beacon of the light of Christ, offering opportunity and hope to our citizens and to all of mankind. Yet because of this it saddens and disturbs me greatly to realize that our country faces the very real possibility of disintegration, of demise, of falling into the cruel enslavement of totalitarian rule. This should not be. I have spent 36 ½ years in the Army.
I am a Green Beret, a founding member of Delta Force and former Commander of the US Army’s Elite Special Forces. I also served as Deputy Undersecretary for U.S. Intelligence, My 36 ½ years in the army was really just preparation for the battle that we are all in today, the battle that America is in today. We must prepare to fight the battle that has the greatest meaning, the battle for the integrity and survival of our republic. Our weapons in this battle are the spiritual weapons we have been given by Almighty God, and the Constitutional rights our Founding Fathers provided.
The Bible tells us there is a time for all things. There is a time to preach and a time to pray, and a time to engage our culture. That time has come, ladies and gentlemen. It is time for believers to fight in the cause of liberty. It is time for the church to rise up, and become a Mighty Army; to become the salt and light we were meant to be. Nothing else can save America but the Church.
It is time to be a great witness for Jesus Christ. So please come and attend our conference on Friday evening April 10, and Saturday morning April 11.
