April 14 – Day 161 Prayer Call 9 PM EST – Transformation Michigan – Uniting Michigan in Prayer 83 Counties 24/7

Have you ever felt surrounded by your enemies? Has the thought of giving up ever entered your mind? Does anyone on this call feel battle weary? This is a normal process many go through during war. I think back on a movie which was a true story where Mel Gibson played Col. Hal Moore. The movie was “We Were Soldiers”. It was the battle of la Drang. They were surrounded by their enemies where the odds against them were so high it appeared it would result in ultimate defeat. This battle in Vietnam is a lesson for us today. During the heat of that battle Col. Moore processed three questions that we must process today as spiritual soldiers in Christ.

1. What is happening?
2. What is not happening?
3. What must we do?

During the heat of battle like all good leaders he answered those questions and called in for air support at the right moment of time and defeat was turned into victory. He was quoted saying to his men – “I can’t promise you that I will bring you all home alive. But this I swear, before you and before Almighty God, that when we go into battle, I will be the first to set foot on the field, and I will be the last to step off, and I will leave no one behind. Dead or alive, we will all come home together. So help me, God.” Col. Hal Moore

We must make every effort to be part of and engage in the National Day of Prayer across the country in state capitals, city halls, and churches. Sylvia Williams is our state coordinator for Michigan. On Thursday May 6 will be a very significant day regarding our nation to take back the land. In Michigan, the proceedings will start at 11 AM and go until 1 PM on our state capitol lawn. At 1 PM we will have a special lunch prepared for people who took time to come out and pray at 322 W. Ottawa across the street from our state capitol in Lansing. We will be providing a fish fry lunch where we can promote fellowship and unity amongst prayer believers. Make every effort to attend your National Day of Prayer proceedings in every state.

Stop National HR 5…. It is an action plan where we all can participate and there are times we must sow into various things as many of you have.
