Last night we had the opportunity to hear the testimony of a couple that travels the nation sharing the gospel on university campuses. You never know how much impact your words can have upon individuals in your sphere of influence. We are never to compare ourselves with others who God as called to specific types of ministry. Just forge ahead and do what he has called you to do. God has given us insights on how to appeal to the unsaved. Pricking the conscience of man and their sense of guilt shows a need for a Savior and brings people to repentance. The greatest act of love that can be given is to warn people from an impending disaster. What about a hurricane warning? Are you not thankful when the appeal is made to take shelter or leave the city?

Another aspect where we need to become more adept at and needs to be covered on this call in the future is apologetics. What is apologetics? It is the art and science of defending Christianity’s truth claims! There are 10 common questions that people at all age levels ask. We need to be responsible and take time as souls are hanging in the balance. We need to cover these questions in great depth, and we will.

We must make every effort to be part of and engage in the National Day of Prayer across the country in state capitals, city halls, and churches. Sylvia Williams is our state coordinator for Michigan. On Thursday May 6 will be a very significant day regarding our nation to take back the land. In Michigan, the proceedings will start at 11 AM and go until 1 PM on our state capitol lawn. At 1 PM we will have a special lunch prepared for people who took time to come out and pray at 322 W. Ottawa across the street from our state capitol in Lansing. We will be providing a fish fry lunch where we can promote fellowship and unity amongst prayer believers. Make every effort to attend your National Day of Prayer proceedings in every state.
