We have discussed on this prayer conference call in the past the assault on the minds of the American people through what we have referred to as CY OPS! It happens through our upbringing, schools we attend, television, Hollywood, and fake news. Most of the people especially our young have been given over to an opposing worldview that is contrary to the Bible. This is a main reason why we are engaged in such a war in our culture.
What is a worldview? A worldview is the framework from which we view reality and make sense of life and the world. It is any ideology, philosophy, theology, movement or religion that provides an overarching approach to understanding God, the world and man’s relations to God and the world.
What is a biblical worldview? A biblical worldview is based on the infallible Word of God. When you believe the Bible is entirely true, then you allow it to be the foundation of everything you say, believe, act out and live your life.
What colored lens are we wearing to see the world in? When you put on different sets of colored glasses the color of that lens certainly changes what you see. You develop a paradigm or a set of beliefs that you live by. Are you seeing with a biblical lens or a worldly lens? Here are some questions to consider determining if you have a Biblical worldview. If you can answer YES to all of these then you have a Biblical worldview! Barna research has stated that only 9% of born-again Christians have a Biblical worldview. Do you understand why we are engaged in such a culture war?
- Do absolute moral truths exist?
- Is absolute truth defined by the Bible?
- Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life?
- Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe, and does He still rule it today?
- Is salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned?
- Is Satan real?
- Does a Christian have a responsibility to share his or her faith in Christ with other people?
- Is the Bible accurate in all its teachings?

We must make every effort to be part of and engage in the National Day of Prayer across the country in state capitals, city halls, and churches. Sylvia Williams is our state coordinator for Michigan. On Thursday May 6 will be a very significant day regarding our nation to take back the land. In Michigan, the proceedings will start at 11 AM and go until 1 PM on our state capitol lawn. At 1 PM we will have a special lunch prepared for people who took time to come out and pray at 322 W. Ottawa across the street from our state capitol in Lansing. We will be providing a fish fry lunch where we can promote fellowship and unity amongst prayer believers. Make every effort to attend your National Day of Prayer proceedings in every state.
