We are seeing signs of a great awakening. How do I prepare myself? Last Saturday we covered some questions that unbelievers, agnostics, atheists, and those who are doubting their faith seem to always ask. We will continue tonight to train and equip individuals in the church to be ready; to give basic answers that are needed; so you can give a reason and a hope for your calling in Jesus Christ. The questions are always the same and we have the answers.
The general church has not equipped its members in what is called apologetics. We all agree it takes faith to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible as true! But the enemies’ devices are to create doubt so we must address those issues to win souls for the kingdom. Our educational system, failure of youth groups to train its youth, media and entertainment, peer pressure, witchcraft, false religions, vain philosophies, have led to the shipwrecking of many people’s faith.
So we pray for those first in our sphere of influence and then take action by adopting a Biblical Worldview and having answers for those in need. Yes, it will take some time to learn and study but we must never forget that eternity hangs in the balance for all!
“Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” (Jude 3)
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; (1 Peter 3:15)

We must make every effort to be part of and engage in the National Day of Prayer across the country in state capitals, city halls, and churches. Sylvia Williams is our state coordinator for Michigan. On Thursday May 6 will be a very significant day regarding our nation to take back the land. In Michigan, the proceedings will start at 11 AM and go until 1 PM on our state capitol lawn. At 1 PM we will have a special lunch prepared for people who took time to come out and pray at 322 W. Ottawa across the street from our state capitol in Lansing. We will be providing a fish fry lunch where we can promote fellowship and unity amongst prayer believers. Make every effort to attend your National Day of Prayer proceedings in every state.
