Tonight, the topic will be priesthood. Part of our personal preparation is to understand the role of priests in the Bible. If you are a born-again Christian, would you be considered a priest? What are the functions of a priest according to the Word of God? Is the terminology of priesthood misunderstood by the majority of Christians? The answers will be shared tonight! So, Corey Shankleton will be addressing the application of this term to ourselves and the Bible usage of it.
It is very needful for us to understand our roles and position as functioning Christians to see how the Lord looks at us as we live out our time here on earth. Most in the church who call themselves Christians but never look at themselves as a priest or part of a priesthood.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 1: 5-6)
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (1 Peter 2:9)
