Day 928 September 28 2021

We have been facing Goliath as the opponent in this spiritual war we are in. We are the laborers sent in to engage this giant(s). There is a battle in the heavenlies over our nation. America will not survive without the continued direct intervention of the body of Christ. We carry the torch of the Gospel that is still going out to the world. We are the DAVID’S taking out the Goliath’s which are acting on many fronts. We carry the 5 stones of God’s grace to take on the giants in the land. Each of us has been called to a specific area because the sphere of influence and assignment given is crucial. In God’s command center of His presence, He will show you where to sling those stones so the Goliaths can be removed that you are facing. Yes, it takes faith and courage as that young man David stepped out and slew Goliath. He was unknown at the time and ridiculed by his family.

Here we are today as many of you have stepped out to face the giant God has specifically put in front of you. When Goliath fell and was beheaded Israel rallied. The same effect happens in the body of Christ when people take steps of action. This attack upon all the cultural gateways in our nation was worse than Pearl Harbor or the attack on the Trade Towers. An identified physical enemy appears to be China. We are in an undeclared war with that nation and a declared war against our spiritual enemies who are the “puppet masters” controlling that nation’s leadership. David took 5 stones! Why? Goliath had brothers! Use the 5 stones God has given each of us carefully and the giants will fall. God will act according to your faith. The Lord is giving each of us marching orders in His Command center of His presence. What is he speaking to you?

Remember, it is the discipline of resting in Him to hear what directives need to be accomplished. Giants can cause an inaction due to intimidation. We always need the Lord’s reassurance that He is with us. Giants represent big problems we are encountering today whether personal, national, and international. These problems can take over our lives for a time. Goliath succeeded in holding Israel hostage to fear for forty days. Goliath presented himself to Israel for 40 days. Do not let the enemy of our souls make you feel powerless because of the threats and accusations. Jesus spent 40 days in the desert place being tested and tempted by Satan. This latter part of September until the end of October is our 40 days. Get ready to sling your stones? You will never reach your destiny unless you walk on that road. THE GIANTS ARE COMING DOWN!

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands. So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.So, David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. Therefore, David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron. (1 Samuel 17: 45 – 52)
