ARE YOU A CIRCUIT RIDER?

In the earliest years of the United States, there were clergy assigned to travel around specific geographic territories to minister to settlers and organize congregations. Circuit riders were clergy in related denominations, although similar itinerant preachers could be found in other faiths as well, particularly among minority faith groups. Ministerial circuit riding was devised by the English religious dissenter John Wesley. A circuit consisted of numerous places of worship scattered over a relatively large district and served by one or more lay preachers. The original American circuit riders introduced Methodism into the colonies.

Charles Grandison Finney was one of the most famous and most controversial travelling preachers during the Second Great Awakening preaching the Gospel as hearts were being prepared to receive the truth. Circuit riders were a religious and moral force along the frontier and in rural areas of the South, and they were largely responsible for the propagation of the Gospel.

Paul Revere was a circuit rider in another sense…a voice before the Revolutionary War. Why was his ride important? The warning given to the colonists and the militia by the riders enabled them to be prepared and fight off the British army’s initial attack. Paul Revere arranged to have a signal lit in the Old North Church – one lantern if the British were coming by land and two lanterns if they were coming by sea – and began to prepare for his ride to alert the local militias and citizens about the impending attack. “One if by land, and two if by sea.”

We are all modern-day circuit riders carrying out a message of truth to set people free in many areas! Our prayer call has been a circuit ride exhortation to equip and encourage people. We are that moral force to engage the sphere of influence the Lord has assigned to us. May your light shine as we proceed towards victory in this spiritual, moral, and political war we are in.

D. “TRUMP WON” BILLBOARD INITIATIVE UPDATE 11/9 – Part of our action initiatives is to call into account and stop the fraud in the elections. We are in an informational war that is attempting to capture the hearts and minds of the people. Prayer is our first focus which paves the way for action steps. Years ago I was involved in a billboard campaign contending for marriage and life in the womb. A few of our boards were vandalized. This experience showed me the effectiveness of billboards. We have two billboards that have been designed to go on four major expressways in the state of Michigan. We have created a link so you can see some of them. This is not a cheap venture so I am thankful for those who have given to this effort to expose fraud. This is not a partisan effort but one of election integrity!

NOTE – GOOD NEWS: As of 11/10 our boards are up in 5 locations across the state including Detroit. They are presently going up on I94 East and West; 131 in Grand Rapids; I75; and I96. One company approved and they have all the boards we need across our state on major xways. Most companies are denying us as they say the message is controversial and negative.
