Leadership and direction is very much needed today. We must glean wisdom and understanding from those who are willing to make a stand. Leaders must have conviction and passion for the cause. There are so many causes today where the Lord has called individuals to champion a particular issue to victory. How do you fit into this picture? Every Christian is called to be a soldier in the army of God. No matter what situation a Christian soldier is in, they must put faith in their commander Jesus Christ and live by the Spirit. Soldiers in Christ bless everyone around them and labor to bring the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, as was the prayer of Jesus our Lord.
In this process, we must identify the exact assignment the Lord has called us to. In this newsletter we included a section today on casting vision and lengthening your tent pegs. We have called leaders who have taken on various challenges GENERALS. We must get behind them in prayer as they need covering for the areas they have charged into. This is a spiritual war, and a spiritual army is being called forth. You are that spiritual army! No one is insignificant in this army.
We are advancing as a praying remnant who has been called to shift history. Remember, we carry a voice that can shake the wilderness as there is life and death in what we speak. Yesterday on our call we spoke of the importance of a restored voice, prophesying and declaring, and how we can activate that voice to speak to the dry bones. In this newsletter, we have also enclosed a section on God’s medicine on praying for the sick through prophesying and declaring. We are all maturing as spiritual warriors in Christ. We are at a time in 2022 to close the ranks and take the offensive in a more direct way.
People who run long distance races talk about a second wind which is the return of ease in breathing after exhaustion caused by continued physical exertion. The energy for a renewed effort to continue an undertaking suddenly kicks in. God is our supply of our spiritual energy in the race we are currently running in. We are in intense warfare and even people on the front lines must rest. Have you ever watched a long-distance race where people were handing out cups of water on the way? Draw upon the living water of the Lord through prayer, reading his word, listening to praise and worship songs, and just plain seeking the Lord. Never forget, we are winning through our persistence, tenacity, importunity, and faith in the one came, died, and rose again…the Lord Jesus Christ!
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)
