We must put feet to our faith we carry and must be proactive in our communities. Think of spheres of influence or concentric circles. It begins with our family and friends. We all have neighbors and maybe workplace contacts. Our voices need to be heard at all costs now. Why do we use the term “grassroots“?

GRASSROOTS: It is the very foundation or source where one must attack the problem. It is the basic level of society.

This is the level where our faith becomes operational. Faith and works are as inseparable as sun and sunlight. Faith is the sun; good works are its rays. It is putting our hands to the plow. God has given us a voice to be heard. Will you face opposition? YES…at times! I have extended family members who have called me names and become quite angry at me. We must weigh the cost as truth must be revealed and realize what is at stake here. Those who oppose you will in the long run benefit. We must carry a Biblical Worldview.

A grassroots advocacy movement must begin. One of the most effective and often underused strategies available grassroots advocacy. It is generally defined as “the basic source of support from the ground up,” it includes organizing, mobilizing, and engaging the public to advocate for themselves. Where are our targets? We must engage and run for school boards, city councils, other boards of importance, county commissioners, and political offices at all levels. Look below at the ideology the Left or Dems carry to alter the minds of our children.

We must carry the voice of truth to all cultural gateways of society! We all carry the responsibility to engage our God given sphere of influence.

The Democratic Party blasted the idea that parents should have a voice in what public schools teach, saying in a Facebook post over the weekend that public education teaches kids what society “needs them to know. A Saturday post made by the Michigan Democrats on their official Facebook page criticized the parents who want to play a role in what public education teaches their children. The post was deleted Monday morning after intense criticism.

“Not sure where this ‘parents-should-control-what-is-taught-in-schools-because-they-are-our-kids’ is originating, but parents do have the option to send their kids to a hand-selected private school at their own expense if this is what they desire,” the post read. “The purpose of public education in public schools is not to teach kids only what parents want them to be taught, ‘ the Michigan Democratic Party’s post continued. “It is to teach them what society needs them to know. The client of the public school is not the parent, but the entire community, the public. The Michigan Democratic Party later deleted that post and issued a quasi-apology.”

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:14-26)
