Throughout history even in the most difficult times there has been a “Radical Remnant” who had overcome adversity by faith. They had chosen to adhere to the promises of God which resulted in His blessings. This radical remnant exists here today. They are being called out as God has preserved them. They have a desire to draw closer to God. They long for the glory of God to come upon the earth. This remnant understands the importance of nurturing a relationship with the King of Kings the Lord Jesus Christ. They are the champions that the Lord has chosen to use in the most difficult of times.

REMNANT: A remnant is defined as a small surviving group of people. It is sometimes defined as something left over. … But God informed Elijah at I Kings 19:18, that He had left for Himself, 7,000 people who would serve and honor Him. Those 7,000 were God’s remnant

RADICAL: Relates to people who favor rapid and sweeping changes in laws and government; a person who holds or follows strong convictions or extreme principles; extremist. a person who advocates fundamental political, economic, and social reforms by direct and often uncompromising methods

“But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,’ says the Lord of hosts. For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew — I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these. And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, let your hands be strong.” (Zechariah 8: 11-13)

HUMAN REMEDY CANNOT SOLVE WHAT THIS NATION IS FACING!

This radical remnant understands that seeking God in the secret place (personal prayer) is where directions and purpose of life is given. The prayer closet is where the voice of God is heard, and we can walk in full confidence by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). It is where He orders and directs our steps (Proverbs 16:9). As we all turn on the news each day, we must think about what the next challenge will be our nation must face this day. There is a realization within that human remedy cannot solve these problems. But God gives His radical remnant assurance as we abide in Him. As the world shakes and is flooded with a tsunami of challenges this praying remnant is covered with the peace of God. We have this peace even in the impact of so many historic moments that are manifesting with increasing rapidity. The prayer closet is the place where we can sink spiritual roots so deep that when the earth shakes the “tree of life” will never be uprooted. Sink your roots as an Oak tree! We must never forget the power of prayer.

However, unlike the movie, this storm is not just a storm of merging weather patterns.
