TONIGHT’S CALL – LANA KRISTAL…KEEPING OUR TEMPLES HEALTHY!

We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Are we called to take care of this physical and spiritual temple? Yes! We have been given a free will to make choices which can preserve our physical/spiritual temple. Spiritually speaking, what destroys our temple? The Word is clear… “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication’s, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defiled not a man” (Matthew 15: 19-20). Sin is always the destroyer. Repentance and appealing for mercy is what repairs our personal spiritual temple.

What about our physical temple, our body? I have always believed you are what you eat. With all the genetically modified food we see the degeneration of our food supply. Unhealthy eating and nutrition is a major challenge. When you see the evil in big PHARMA and the love of money that is being uncovered…who can you trust? We must investigate personally what we should be eating and the nutrition we should be applying daily in our lives. It is our personal responsibility.

A friend visited us recently at my home. He gave my wife and I a revelation about Jesus going into the temple to turn over the tables of the money changers. There is much more to that act. Jesus was removing the corruption that has invaded the church. Think of our physical/spiritual temples! Jesus went to the CROSS to bring forth a total transformation for us spiritually and physically. We are people of prayer followed by action. May we purge our temples through the guidance of the Holy Spirit both physically and spiritually.

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” (Psalm 139:14)

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

“Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.” (Matthew 21: 12-13)
