God is building His house! It is not a house that is made with men’s hands. We have all seen houses that are under construction where a foundation is laid, the floor is put down, the walls and roof are built. The construction of a physical house is in one sense a journey where the means lead to an end. We are all on a journey where the process of salvation builds our spiritual house. The Bible is full of examples of individuals who were on a life journey to teach us as we face daily life. What is a journey?
JOURNEY: It suggests traveling or passage from one place to another. Our “LIFE” journey means it is filled with good and bad lessons, joy, celebration, hardship, and special movements that will ultimately lead us to our destination…HEAVEN!
Our journey will always intersect the lives in the sphere of influence that God has given us. The experiences we are given are meant to help others to see the truth that leads to eternal life. Eternity must be stamped on our eyeballs as our days are numbered. Most people pay little attention to the importance of the journey they are on. We are all one heartbeat from eternity. The house God is building in each of us is a spiritual one. This journey is not just following truths and principles but following a person. Jesus Christ is our shepherd and teacher. The journey we are on is to know Jesus, follow him, and seek to grow up in him in every way. He is not only the goal of our lives; he must also become our lives. Take time and reflect on the journey you are on. Rejoice in the process that is building your personal spiritual house.

If the living knew what the dead knew the whole world would turn to Jesus Christ.
Think about it…very few turn to atheism on their deathbed.
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17)
“For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.” (Hebrews 3:4)
“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” (2 Corinthians 5:1)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 27:1)
