TONIGHT’S CALL – COREY SHANKLETON…CHRIST THE SON!I!

What does “Christ the Son” mean to you? In these turbulent times we must be anchored in Him as nothing can shake you if you put your total trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. No matter how bad the news cycle may look God is control. God brings people in and out of power (Romans 13:1-2) so why should we fret? As the world chess game plays out realize pieces of the puzzle are falling into place and the grand picture is unfolding. Christ the Son gives us assurance! How many of us need assurance in this hour?

ASSURANCE: In the mind it is the assurance of salvation; confidence of mind or manner; easy freedom from self-doubt or uncertainty spoke with assurance about our future plans; also, excessive self-confidence, brashness, and presumption.

Assurance gives us confidence in the promises of God to His children. We always need to remind ourselves to cast any burdens you are carrying presently onto the Lord. We are passing through this land knowing eternity in heaven is before us. This should bring peace to our inner spirit man. May we continue to carry out our assignment each day which is prayer followed by action. Just because we have eternal assurance does not mean we sit back and do nothing. We are co-laboring with the Son Jesus Christ. Fulfill your calling in Christ as multitudes in heaven are watching us.

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.” {1 John 5:20)

“Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:36)
