TONIGHT’S CALL – ROSEMARIE WRIGHT…THE ARMY OF GOD IS FILLED WITH LIGHT!

There are three types of prayer that we must be aware of. It is through prayer where an army of God is called forth to do battle against spiritual wickedness in high places. The word says that light dispels the darkness. So, the Army of God must be filled with light that not only exposes the enemy’s evil schemes and plans but also destroys them. We need Divine light which is an aspect of Divine presence, specifically an unknown and mysterious ability of angels or human beings to express themselves communicably through spiritual means, rather than through physical capacities. The war is intensifying, and a battle is both underway and waging where prayer must be understood at new levels.

What are the three types of prayer? It can be best explained by the types of light we are familiar with.

1. General lighting…where you turn on the lights in a room(s)…multi directional.

2. Spotlight… one single beam of light that shines on a particular area

3. Laser lighting emits light that is highly directional. Laser light is emitted as a relatively narrow beam in a specific direction or a beam that is super concentrated in one small area.

General corporate prayer is a good thing as it enlightens the total group to various challenges and needs that must be addressed. This is general lighting prayer. Out of general corporate prayer divisions are formed that peel off in God’s Army that will take on one specific area. So, a spotlight is put on abortion; fraud in the election; healing of the sick; or a particular cultural gateway in society. We must be aware that a third group forms that literally goes behind the enemies’ lines to take out evil destructive forces. These can be looked at as a type of “Special Forces”. We refer to this as laser beam praying. It is an efficient, highly organized, group who has great discernment and are not fearful of surrounding circumstances.

Each prayer group needs Divine lighting so again may we challenge ourselves to draw closer to the Lord to receive oil for our spiritual lamps. May we be the wise virgins of Matthew 25. Have you prayed for oil today for your personal spiritual lamp? Let us begin there and allow God to assign us to a specific place in his army.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising”. (Isaiah 60: 1-3)

“And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John 1:5)

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.” (Matthew 25: 1-4)

•Ban outside funding for elections and restrict mail-in ballots
