Tonight’s Call – MARK GURLEY…PRAYING INTO THE GREAT AWAKENING FROM A HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE!!!

There are common denominators we easily discover when we review historical great awakenings. Some of these principles that have brought Divine intervention into human affairs are persistent prayer by a remnant few; desperate times; faith filled declarations of God’s word; hearing the voice of God followed by obedience; passion for unsaved souls; an attitude of never giving up; and being still as well as waiting on God to move.

The “Watch of the Lord” has repeatedly impacted history. Michigan can be the next Herrnhut (Watch of the Lord) and save a nation if we can grasp the importance of unified prayer. Can we learn from and glean the good from history? It is said that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

The watch is not only Biblical but historical. Look below at how the “Watch of the Lord” changed history because of the “hidden ones” that were moved to pray. They realized that the hand of God will move upon the land if those could be found to stand in the gap. As we look at history, we see what dedicated remnants can do to shift history. We are in such a time. Never underestimate the impact of praying remnants when in dire times.
