TONIGHT’S CALL – GOD IS RAISING UP COURAGEOUS PEOPLE…SPECIAL GUESTS!!!

One of the originators of our nightly call is Mark Gurley. He recently wrote a publication titled, “One Person Can Make a Difference”. He asked, “Can one person really make a difference”? Mark gave a resounding yes! He went on to say, “As promised, everything you need to know to make a difference is summed up in revelations of possibility and practicality gleaned from our experiences and experience of others. It can serve as inspiration or guidance for all who desire to make a difference.” I will ask Mark to do a call in the future on this very subject.

Each of us have been given the opportunity to make a difference as we live our lives out. We have talked about in the past of leaving a legacy for your family line. It is never too late to start. As strange as it sounds, even a person on their death bed can alter what appears to be a life that has been wasted. You may ask how can this be done? Words of life can be spoken over a family, there could be a heart that is rendered with compassion with an appeal for forgiveness and speaking out love to those that person is surrounded by.

Most of us are not in any deathbed situation and you need to declare today is a new day. You can make a difference in the God-given sphere of influence God has set before you. The Word specifically says we will give an account for what we have done with our time, talents, and resources that we possess. All of us including myself will realize how we have fallen short in so many ways. In knowing this, we still must push forward and utilize the time on this earth to make a difference. The sphere of influence God has given you is the literal harvest that you have been called to bring into the kingdom of God. Never forget eternity hangs in the balance for us all.

What will you do with the time you have left? Go into your prayer closet and isolate yourself and ask the Lord for that specific assignment that he desires you to carry out. The past is the past so turn the page of your legacy LIFEBOOK as we all have been given gifts of the Holy Spirit. Never let any setback or situation dissuade you from your specific calling God has placed upon you. God makes it clear again and again that we’re to love others, care for the poor, and live our lives in such a way that we point to the power of the gospel. When we contemplate what God’s calling is for our lives, those universal commands are a great place to start.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” (John 15:16)

“And the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” (1 Corinthians 1: 28-29)

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)
