TONIGHT’S CALL – Rosemarie Wright – TIME TO TAKE OUT THE GIANTS
We must never let fear overtake us when taking down spiritual giants in the land. Fear causes hesitation and indecision. Yes, giants can appear to be intimidating but may we remember God who is for us who can be against us. Fear can create confusion as it gives an opportunity for the enemy of our souls to manipulate our emotions which can lead to bad choices. This is why our personal prayer closet is the safest place to be. It is a place where we can rest and gain assurance from the Lord. The Lord must order and direct our steps. Joshua and Caleb and the 10 spies went into the land of the Giants…Numbers 13:25-14:10. The spies gave a fearful report and feared the giants. Joshua and Caleb said no and let’s go in and take the land.
So here we are today we must not let the spirit of fear intimidate us. Each of us are going to different situations at this time which can cause stress, emotional swings, and indecision. Let’s be honest, this is a result of not trusting in the Lord.
OVERCOMING FEAR OF THE GIANTS IN OUR LAND!
1.Remind yourself of God’s goodness…In this world, things can look and be so scary. From Satan’s influences to the consequences of our own sin and the sins of others, it’s all too easy to let anxiety set in. The devil would like nothing more than for us to be so consumed with fear, that we forget that God is in control!
2. Because God is good, you can trust in Him…Sometimes when the troubles of the world surround us, we find it hard to trust in God. I wonder how to overcome fear and anxiety Biblically, when the Bible clearly acknowledges that bad things will still happen in this life? That’s when it helps to remember that if our eyes are in this world, we will question God’s goodness…BUT if our eyes are on the cross, we know that He is absolutely good.
3. Take advantage of the fact that God is always with you—by praying continually…Part of trusting Him with our fears, means crying out to Him. Every day, all day, it’s so helpful to voice our concerns to the Lord. From the littlest thing to the biggest thing. Cry out to God and know that He hears you.
4. Instead of just sitting and worrying, do something about it…One of the greatest ways for how to overcome fear and anxiety Biblically, is—SURPRISE! — to saturate yourself with Scripture. The few verses listed below in this post are just the tippy-tip-tip of the iceberg, so to speak. To continue pushing out fear with God’s love, study His Word. Memorize a few Bible verses about fear. Read Psalm 23 aloud, over and over again.
5. Stay connected with the people in your life…So many times in life, the devil uses our fears to isolate us. Remember, your friends and family need you, and you need them! God designed us for community, with Him and with each other. Please don’t let Satan’s lies of fear keep you from sharing your story, listening to the concerns of others, and engaging in deeper, more meaningful relationships. This is why we do our nightly call to inform, encourage, equip in the season we are in.
6. Don’t just retreat inside your own fears…help someone else! Likewise, if you’re fearful or upset about something, getting lost in your own head won’t help. We know we can’t be the only one who has succumbed to a spiral of fearful thoughts, before finally dusting off and deciding to focus on someone other than myself. Look at other people’s interests and fears other than your own and peace will begin to rule over fear.
7. Finally, pray for others…Another way you can help (and thus get outside of your own anxiety), is by praying for other people. If you’re riding out a storm, pray for your neighbors who are doing the same. Or if you worry, you’re not “good enough”, pray for all the young women out there who are growing up with even more anxiety and self-esteem issues than you might’ve experienced. Praying intercessory prayers for others is such a great way to set aside your own issues and remember that those around you also have many worries and concerns they’re grappling with. You can ease their burden, and ask the Lord to give them peace, through your prayers.
STAY THE COURSE AND HOLD THE LINE…THE GIANTS ARE GOING DOWN!!!

Transformation Michigan/MI Capitol House of Prayer
To Rick, Mark,Cory. There is a meeting tonight at 6:00pm at Newaygo County Commission with a open public forum regarding RED PROJECT. They have been here in White Cloud tomorrow will be week 7. We have been holding a protest since they came here, having been asked to leave Tamarack in Freemont. Newaygo Mental health applied for a grant, Family Health Care is hosting them. City of White Cloud which Dennis and I live does not want them here, nor does our Chief Dan Evans, yet the County has not said much. Their agenda is giving out safe needles, crack pipes safe sex paraphernalia, etc. Our protest is done very respectfully, but we will not back down till they leave. They take pictures of us, our cars, and we are not allowed on the property they are using. Check them out, though most of their website says, “under construction” the meeting goes from 6:30 to 8:00pm and we are praying the room is filled with Grassroots people and other concerned citizens. We will have a update for MI prayer line tonight if you would like to hear it. Thank you for your prayers and thank you for MI prayer line. Hope it never ends. Last night was so good and encouraging.
