Tonight’s Call – RICK WARZYWAK…THE IMPORTANCE OF A SPOKEN BLESSING!!!

We need to understand the power of the spoken blessing. Blessings teach us to love and accept our enemies. Do not hold any hatred. Pray for the people who hurt you for He knows the right thing to do. Treat people the way you want to be treated — whether it’s an ally or an enemy. Your kindness will be rewarded for you are doing what the Father desires. Don’t we all desire a Double Portion blessing, Financial Abundance, Restoration, Miracles, promises of God in our life and God’s favor on what we put our hands on to accomplish.

BLESSING: A special favor, mercy, or benefit, the blessings of liberty. a favor or gift bestowed by God, thereby bringing happiness. the invoking of God’s favor upon a person, praise; devotion; worship, especially grace said before a meal. Blessing is defined as God’s favor, or a person’s sanction or support, or something you ask God for, or something for which you are grateful. When God looks down upon you and protects you, this is an example of God’s blessing. When a Father OKs a marriage proposal, this is an example of when he gives his blessing.

There is power of life and death in our tongues or the words that we speak. Blessings for the life of a family are done by parents. The spoken blessing over our children is a key to them living fruitful lives. When was the last time you spoke a blessing over your children or grandchildren?

What are some ways we can be a blessing?

1. Pray for Others. Praying is the most important thing we can do!
2. Meet a Need. We know so many who have so many needs.
3. Be an Encouragement as blessings bring comforting words.
4. Be Thoughtful. People love the idea of knowing people are thinking of them.
5. Speak Kind Words….life and death principle of the tongue.
6. Give Your Time.
7. Bless Someone on a Tight Budget, health challenge or a personal struggle.

We must carefully read Deuteronomy 28. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. God himself will be our guide, and he will guide us through. He knows the challenges that will face us, the obstacles that are before us. He invites us simply to follow him. And to help us on our way, God offers us the light of his Word.

REMEMBER: The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are a blessing to each of us. They are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, reverence for God, and fear of the Lord.

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22)

“Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.” (James 3:10)

“Bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you.” (Luke 6:28)

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)
