Tonight’s Call – RICK WARZYWAK…STORMING THE GATES!!!

Storming the gates of heaven through prayer and action is a call to the church today. In Storming the Gates of Heaven, a plan for praying effective prayers that God answers is presented through unpacking the ancient prayer of the prophet Daniel, a prayer that moved heaven and changed a nation and one that even today can deliver on God’s promises. It’s a prayer birthed under pressure. The gate is an entryway into an unknown place, or a place of great significance.It is a threshold which means a point of entry.We can speak of the gates of a city, governmental buildings, and our homes. In the OT city leaders would sit at the gates. They were guarded areas.

What is the purpose of a gate? Security…this is the most important function of having an entrance gate, to help keep intruders out of places of great significance. For a gate to be reliable it should be strong and impossible to evade by someone trying to break in. We certainly take precautions, so our personal homes are not broken into by a burglar or intruders. What about spiritual intrusion? We must guard our homes from spiritual wickedness in high places.

Gates are synonymous with portals. There are good and evil portals. Good ones are prophetically stationed across cities and territories that are given apostolic mandate to be able to legislate on behalf of the courts of heaven of heaven. Pathways that connect the Heavenly realm and the earthly realm are portals. The Bible abounds with references to portals that were opened between God and His people. Satan counterfeits God’s ways, therefore, he seeks to have portals opened through which he can influence mankind.

The Holy Spirit is giving marching orders to remnant watchmen to pray and close evil portals that are in various cultural gateways of society. We must continue to welcome in angelic hosts and God’s presence where wells are opened, and God’s grace is being dispersed. This is the season of time we are in, so may we be a people to see as God sees and hear as He hears. Stay the course and hold the line!

“She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors:” (Proverbs 8:3)

“Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them; I shall give thanks to the Lord. this is the gate of the Lord; the righteous will enter through it.” (Psalm 118:19-20)

“Wisdom shouts in the street, She lifts her voice in the square; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings.” (Proverbs 1:20-21)

“Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in!” (Psalm 24: 7-10)
