TONIGHT’S CALL – RICK WARZYWAK WITH MATT DEPERNO…WHEN THE WICKED RULE!!!

Corruption must be removed in all sectors of government. We are in a time where wicked men and women are being exposed. We understand their characteristics. They earn deceptive wages where the love of money is the root of their evil, the wicked person is volatile, unpredictable, frightening, and destructive. Like a lion, the wicked know that they have power, and they always use it in a destructive way. Fear and pride are the root of most leadership issues. Evil leadership is therefore leadership that causes the harm and destruction of human beings. The LORD detests evil leadership and men/women of perverse heart, and those who pursue evil will go to their death. The Word of God assures us of this.

How does the Lord deal with the wicked? Right now, Christ’s hand is raised, not in judgment, but in mercy. I must ask myself, is this changing? I suspect it is as God’s Hand is moving and judging evil. Wickedness is going down, and the Lord is providing ample opportunity for repentance. No one needs to go down in their wickedness. God offers mercy and grace to them through his son, Jesus Christ, today. Hardened hearts are being revealed and we see their time may be up.

What does the Bible say about wicked leaders? The Lord is sovereign. He doesn’t just appoint good leaders. He appoints all leaders; even those leaders who are evil and perform wicked deeds. Daniel 2:21 says, “he removes kings and sets up kings.” This is an absolute statement. There is a reason why the wicked are allowed to rule for a season. Look what our nation has done regarding abortion, moral depravity, corruption, the negation of God in our culture. We have reaped what we have sown.

The turnaround is now in progress. In this turnaround many will face more persecution for their stand representing righteousness. This will all be our challenge to weather the storm. A righteous judgment will come upon both the wicked and the righteous; the good people whom the wicked have hurt will be blessed for their righteousness, and the wicked people will be condemned. Conversely, Courage and Humility are the foundation that creates Leaders of Character who build trust, communicate, and listen well, avoid micromanaging, serve first, and truly add value to the people they lead. These are the people God is raising up today!

Stay the course and hold the line…and pray for the wicked to turn to Jesus Christ!

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2)

“Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.” (Isaiah 3:11)

“He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, will suddenly be destroyed and that without remedy.” (Proverbs 29:1)
