TONIGHT’S CALL – MARK GURLEY WITH JOHN GIBBS…ELECTION MUSINGS!!!

The challenges that are manifesting can tend to wear us down to make us ineffective. The daily news cycle and reports contain much negativity which can distress people to appoint where they feel like giving up. The events that are unfolding now are a witness that the tide is turning in the turnaround we are encountering. We must guard against weariness, which is defined as exhaustion, loss of strength, endurance, vigor, or freshness, to become tired or sick of something. We are on a present journey that will cause weariness, and we will be exhausted at times. But our victory is near, and this is what spiritual war is like.

SOLUTION: The one who waits on the Lord, will have renewed strength. The one who hopes in the Lord will get home! We will walk and not faint.

During these times emotions can become overwhelmed because of other numerous attacks that can be on us personally. Have you ever been in a place where you kept swatting mosquitoes? It makes you want to leave that place. We must continue to stay on the battlefield. How many times have I said if it is too easy it is not worth doing. We are in the battle of the ages for our nation. It all hinges on the church partnering with the Lord.

We must have “Wings as Eagles” where we rise toward the heavens. When we “wait upon the Lord” by patiently trusting in Him and keeping our covenants, He blesses us with His divine help. In His strength we are lifted up so that we can receive peace in this world, and eternal life in the world to come”. We must maintain our intercessory prayer trajectory in the air over the challenges our nation is facing. We carry God given authority. May we soar like an eagle who is waiting to take out its prey. Snakes are being devoured as this communication goes out.

STAY THE COURSE AND HOLD THE LINE!!!

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Galatians 6:9)
