TONIGHT’S CALL – “INSIDE THE PIT” LANA KRISTAL, ROSEMARIE WRIGHT, ANITA CHRISTOPHER

What is it about God’s timing? Doesn’t it seem so long at times to see God’s purposes to totally unfold? Is it possible there is a bigger picture at hand that we fail to see? Yes! Most of us have put together puzzles and if one piece is put out a place it distorts the whole picture. Have you ever done a connect a dot drawing? All the dots must be connected correctly in order so the picture can be seen. This is what is at work today. It’s all about God’s timing! Frustrations can arise when the result is not seen quick enough. Many of us can agree to answer being delayed. Therefore, patience and persistence as well as faith in who God is will bring us the expected results.

You can trust his timing because if he gives you a promise, he intends to follow through no matter how long it takes. He didn’t make a mistake when he made us a promise. It was deliberate and intentional. He knows what he’s doing when he allows us to wait. What is another reason why we must trust God’s timing? It is because of His unequaled wisdom. He is all-knowing, so He knows what is best in everything. So if we want the best solution to our present day challenges or answer to our prayers, then ask God. Therefore, if the Lord is making us wait, be patient.

God’s timing is always honest. Everything occurs in His perfect timing and there are no games with waiting nor is there truth that has been manipulated. This reason why God’s timing is better is based on how He answers our prayers. When we receive guidance in His perfect timing, we get the truth.

5 Ways to Be Patient Waiting On God’s Timing

Pray for patience and fortitude through the waiting season.
Pray for God to reveal the next step or the next season.
Pray for your heart to be open to the work God’s doing through this current season.
Pray for transformation and renewal of the very thing hoped for…. see things as they ought to be.

It is OK to ask why we must wait so long? God wants us to press into his presence and wait patiently before his throne. He’s calling us to come before him with thanksgiving even if we’re still waiting on a promise. The world has so many things they want to offer us on an instantaneous silver platter. But good God-sent blessings take time. Far from being wasted time, a season of waiting is an opportunity to put our faith into practice in anticipation of God’s future plans for our life. What about the life of our nation we are fighting for? Is the struggle worth it…YES!!!

STAY THE COURSE AND HOLD THE LINE!

“O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs—O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud.Lord, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?” (Psalm 94: 1-3)

“Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, That You may give him [e]rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not [f]cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
