Tonight’s Call – IT’S CABINET CLEANING TIME! Rosemarie Wright

We all need encouragement. During many sporting events you will have cheerleaders attempting to inspire the crowd to inspire the team. Encouragement reinforces the right things in order to achieve and pursue victory. Our team is thankful for all the emails, texts, letters, offerings that so many of you have given us. You are literally our cheerleaders to continue what at times seems so difficult. We all have faced ups and downs in this spiritual battle we are in. This is normal!

ENCOURAGEMENT: Persuasion to do or continue something; the act of trying to stimulate the development of an activity, state, or belief.

Looking at the Biblical meaning, it comes from the Greek word parakaleo. It is used in the New Testament to describe not only giving comfort to someone, but it also involves exhortation, urging, strengthening, and even appealing. Encouragement lets people know they are on the right track and helps maintain a positive attitude no matter the challenges, delays, momentum swings, and setbacks we encounter. Keeping our eyes on the prize and price to pay for freedom for our children, grandchildren, and generations to come must be affixed in our spirit.

Encouraged people are more willing to take action, take responsibility, show initiative, express their opinion and they generally feel more energized and motivated. This is why we do a newsletter four days a week and have included below a series on the names of God. The Father, and Holy Spirit are our main “Sources of Encouragement” and we draw that from our personal time we spend with the Lord. In this week of Thanksgiving may we give thanks for all things and praise the one who will deliver us from the evil that is upon the world.

Our Transformation Michigan team is encouraging all of us to stay the course and hold the line!

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.” (Romans 15:5)

“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16)

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” (Psalm 55:22)

God routinely asks His people to do the “impossible”: Love your enemies. Forgive those who have hurt you. Stop worrying. Don’t be selfish. Be joyful in trials. These sound like the right things to do. But is it possible to live like this? Yes, it is-but only if we come to know God as Abraham did. Remember his story? God barged into the great patriarch’s life and graciously gave him all sorts of staggering promises and blessings, chief of which was a son(Genesis 12-21). But then, in a terrible test of faith (Genesis 22), God asked Abraham to do the unthinkable: sacrifice his beloved Isaac, the boy Abraham had waited for all his life.

It is impossible to fathom the mystery and agony of this moment. But Abraham trusted God. With equal parts terror, grief, faith, and confusion, he obeyed. That’s when it happened. Just in the nick of time, right when it looked like all was lost, God intervened. He stopped Abraham and called his attention to a ram caught in a thicket-a substitute sacrifice. As a result of this experience, Abraham learned that God doesn’t just call His people to action and then disappear. On the contrary-He shows up in the nick of time and supplies precisely what we need. The very thing God demands, He also provides. Abraham, overjoyed with wild, sweet relief, named the place of this miracle “The Lord Will Provide.” God sees what we need, and then meets that need.

What impossible thing is God asking you to do today? What do you need in order to live the life to which God has called you? Perhaps as you begin to make your list, you’d do well to write across the top of it:: “Jehovah Jireh: The Lord Will Provide.” Then at the bottom, right out this great promise:” He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” God sees what we need and generously supplies it.

QUESTION: In what specific ways have you seen God provide for you over the last month?

“Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham call that place Of the Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, on the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” (Genesis 22 13-14)

We are communicating a CALL TO ACTION in effort to have incident reports submitted to Patrick Colbeck as quickly as possible. Ideally, this evening. PLEASE do not stress out over this last-minute request. We fully realize this plea is simply not doable for most.

However, we also realize many of you have already complied, documented and typed extensive reporting. If you have done so, please forward a copy of your reporting directly to Patrick. His email address is Patrick@migrassrootsalliance.org. We are asking those of you who may have previously sent a copy elsewhere (such as to a volunteer inside of Michigan Citizens for Election Integrity or Election Integrity Force) to please send a copy directly to Patrick as well.

Detroit AVBC Update: We wanted to acknowledge that many of you who worked as Detroit AVCB Challenger, may have returned your incident reports and documentation directly to us. Please know, we are working diligently on reviewing it all. We have a small team of volunteers who are painstakingly reading your hard work in effort to organize, and then separate it out into various topics of concerns. As you can imagine, this is a tedious and time-consuming process for all 130 tables (operating three days). Your attention to detail is noteworthy. Please continue to grant us the gift of grace if we seem slow to respond to your inquiries; it is only because we are staunchly and steadfastly still working ourselves. We will be providing you with periodic updates as we navigate through this unprecedented process.

Volunteers are crucial to this process. The time and effort each of you have dedicated…we cannot thank you enough.

It is reported that in Wayne County 90% of the Poll books gave errors, telling voters they had already voted by absentee ballot, when in fact they had not. Why were the absentee votes assigned to these individuals?
