Tonight’s Call – “It Will Established in the Courts of Heaven” Anita Christopher

We must enter into the rest of God in this tumultuous season. These next few weeks could bring some very alarming events. So, declare peace over all that may manifest. When we enter God’s rest, we rest from our work, just like God did from His. We rest from the exhausting, futile, unpleasant work of trying to earn our way for God’s favor and yes, heaven. We rest from trying to prove our righteousness.

Rest allows us to quiet ourselves before God and revives our minds, bodies, and spirits. We very much need this in the coming weeks and months. Resting as a spiritual practice is intentional and can be practiced in community or alone. Jesus just says come to Him. We must realize rest is a spiritual act where you declare and believe you trust God beyond what you can accomplish for yourself. It requires discipline on our part to stop our minds spinning on what needs to be done next. In resting, focus on God and your relationships rather than on your task list.

ENTER INTO THAT REST!

1. Spend time in Prayer

2, Meditate on Word

3. Spend time in Worship

4. Spend time in nature and the creation around you.

5. Bringing your thoughts into captivity of God’s peace.

6. Take a personal Communion time.

7. Be thankful for all things.

God designed us with a need for the wonderful gift of rest. Spiritual rest is the rest of faith, the ability to remain connected to Christ as we live and work with Him. We must harness the Shalom peace of God in our physical, mental, emotional, social, sensory, creative, and spiritual aspects of our lives. Yes, discipline is involved but necessary as the Lord will assist all of us to be in that place where He dwells…. REST IN HIM!!!

“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. (Hebrews 4: 9-11)

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16) “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11: 28-30)

Peace! Is there a word that is, well, more peaceful? It conveys stillness, tranquility, the absence of conflict, 5heend of war, no fear or hostility, no anxiety or chaos. And Biblical peace is even better than all that. Shalom isn’t just the absence of bad things like friction between groups of people; it’s the rich presence of good things like fullness and joy. Simply put, Shalom is “life as good as it was meant to be”.

Isaiah introduced the idea of God as Sar-Shalom (Isaiah 6) revealing that God Himself is peace and the giver of peace. Real life, rich life, abundant life–the life we want–is found only in Him. On the Cross, Jesus Made it possible for sinners to have peace with God. Overcoming death, Jesus now lives and reigns in the hearts of millions, affording us the capacity to experience the peace of God. He gave us peace in the ultimate sense.

All our temporal experiences of peace give us a glimpse of the ultimate and eternal peace we will have at last in heaven. Peace may be something we chase after, but true peace can only come as a gift from God.

QUESTION: When have you experienced true peace?

“And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

The Forest is About to be Set Ablaze (12.4.22)
Change is coming and as it does, you must also change. Be ready and be prepared to both meet and confront the new realities and revelation which is unfolding. That which you saw dimly and understood in pieces, you shall soon see face to face and as a whole. The revelation which is coming will lay waste to the lies and misconceptions of the many. Believers and unbelievers alike will reel under the weight and heat of the truths which are about to be uncovered and released.

Even the smallest amount of truth, sets deception on fire, but when a forest burns, its ashes sink into the soil and provides fertile ground for new growth. It would be wise for the tillers of fields to take note and discern what seed to plant in the fertile soil. Remember the parable of the wheat and the tares and guard diligently against the enemies’ seed, as both will grow quickly and it is difficult to discern until mature.

For now; be on the wall and watching, for revelation from on high is on its way. The kingdom of darkness will resist the truth; they will attempt to explain it away, but their words and efforts will fall short and will not penetrate the truth. The thief is in motion, and you know he is coming, so make preparations, but know he will not win this battle. The shroud of darkness under which he has hidden the truth, is about to be ripped away. The centuries old forest that once hid its contents, is about to be set ablaze by the fire of truth. After the fire has cleared the trees, all that was hidden will be revealed for all to see.
