Tonight’s Call – PRINCIPLES OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE!

There are principles of spiritual warfare we must be aware of to defeat the enemies attempting to destroy our nation. We must be sure that we are not “Lukewarm” believers. We must not be pursuing unity at the expense of compromise. Running into the battle is vitally important at this moment and casting all fears unto the Lord. We must understand what having the whole armor of God on ourselves properly placed. Each piece has a purpose and will serve its function when you put it on.

On our call tonight we will discuss many aspects of spiritual war…so join us!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, or which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” (Ephesians 6: 10-20)

One of the greatest deceptions is to think our lives are pleasing to God when we are, in fact, spiritually lukewarm. “Lukewarm” is a condition Jesus described as so repulsive, it caused Him to vomit (see Revelation 3:15-16). If that is our condition, what can we do? Anyone who has truly met the King, our God, who is a “consuming fire,” cannot help but become a burning fire for Him. To be lukewarm or lack passion in any relationship is the greatest insult. To act this way toward God is the greatest human deception. Jesus said in Luke 12:49: “I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!” In the discourse that follows this statement, the Lord spoke of divisions that would come to families and how essential it was to know the signs of the times. Have we ever considered that the present divisions manifesting in our times, even in families, are things the Lord required? How can this be when He prayed so much for unity in John 17?

This is a paradox, not a contradiction. The unity of His people is dear to His heart, but a false unity that supplants and distracts from the true unity is the greatest enemy. True unity can only happen when God’s people are separated from the evil that covers this earth, and this requires a separation from all who love evil more than the Lord. So, how do we fulfill the command to, “Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14)? And how can we have “peace with all men” when the world is descending into terrible darkness and growing divisions? This is not always possible, which is why we are instructed to pursue peace without necessarily achieving it. Neither is pursuing peace the same as pursuing agreement. It is always right to pursue peace with those with whom we disagree. It is also important to have wisdom to know when this is not possible. What we always must pursue and never stop attaining is “the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.” To be sanctified is to be holy to the Lord, and to be holy to the Lord is to be “wholly” His. The best example of this is in the life of Jesus.

Watch the sheet come down! And watch it bring down what you have never tasted before.
“Remove your religion and eat what I bring you! For I have sowers and I have gatherers and I am activating a troop to gather what has been sown. Ready yourself, ready your hands and allow Me to anoint them so you grab hold of your future! I am the Father of war, so see war as I see war. I know when there’s a time of war and when there’s a time of peace. See your conflicts the way I see them and enter into those conflicts with My eyes! I am the Father, I am your Daddy in the midst of war, so go forth with confidence!”

NAMES OF GOD SERIES – CHRISTOPHER HUDSON EL GIBBHOR…MIGHTY GOD!

The Bible uses the adjective Gibbhor (mighty) to describe only a few people. Nimrod was called a mighty warrior. Nimrod was called a mighty warrior (Genesis 10: 8-9). King David had a group of mighty warriors who accomplished breathtaking military feats (2 Samuel 23:8). Yet the concept of mighty becomes supercharged when attaached to God. As El Gibbhor, God is the ultimate, Divine superhero. Nothing can compare to Him in terms of strength.

Because He is El Gibbhor, we will never find our maker wringing His hands–or throwing up His hands–over potential outcomes. Elections? Court Decisions? Legislative Debates? Wars in Volatile Regions? El Gibbhor is not worried, because He’s not impotent. He doesn’t have to fret or wonder how things will unfold. He simply makes things happen. He’s never surprised by the unfolding of world events. What this means for is is that we can trust God’s power in every situation. The One who overcame sin and death can defeat every strong foe that comes against us. One day all creation will bow humbly at the feet of our mighty Lord (Philippians 2:10).
