Tonight’s Call – PASTOR JEFF ROE…JESUS OUR PROTOTYPE!

What is a prototype? It is a first, typical or preliminary model of something, from which other forms are developed for copy. It also can be turned as the word image. Are we not to be transformed into the image of Christ? Jesus Christ is our prototype! The proto type of form in which Adam was created was the image of God, in Christ that images restored; and it is the hope of the Christian that this form will be his also when he is awaken to the deeper truth of the gospel. In the Bible in the Old Testament the forefather Melchizedek was a prototype of Christ in the first manifestation of Royal Boldness. We also see Moses saw God face-to-face upon an unknown mountain sometime after he spoke to the Lord in the burning bush before he went to free the children of Israel from Egypt. Enoch and Elijah went to heaven while still alive and did not experience physical death. They understood one who is coming Jesus Christ our prototype.

Growth in Christ is a process as we start out as babes then become young and finally mature in Him. This growth process comes through general revelation as we see in Romans 1:20 we see and observe the stunning beauty of creation which should lead us to worship the one who brought it into being simply by speaking. We also grow through special revelation which entails God’s word.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

As we grow in the Lord then comes personal revelation. The Holy Spirit speaks to our inner man and God’s word becomes more real. We are given the opportunity to communicate with the creator of the universe. It is where God orders and directs our steps to fulfill our calling and destiny in Him. He strengthens us positively to walk in his ways that are pleasing to him. In the season of time or in the 5-fold ministry has been released with a greater anointing so we can be originally what we are called to be.

Stay the course and hold the line!

“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8: 29-30)

“Then God said, let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him;” (Genesis 1: 26-27)

Fill in the blank: “________________means everything to me!” Everybody has an everything. Maybe it’s a spouse or children or a circle of friends. It could be high enough scores to get into a certain degree program. It might be gaining success in a certain sport or a career, being liked and admired, living a certain lifestyle, always looking great– you get the idea. We all have something that means the world to us, and that thing is our everything. And that’s where life gets tricky. When we give a person, thing, or goal our primary attention, allegiance, and affection, in a real sense we worship it – because worship is the act of ascribing value to something. But God says, “Worship Me. Make Me your everything.” It only makes sense that the perfect Creator and source of everything good would want His creatures to wrap their lives around Him.

God can’t be your everything while something else is. You can’t be chiefly devoted to God and to your career, your image, your position, and your bank account balance. God can the ultimate in your life if your children hold the top spot. God’s Word says we are to put God first; we are to make Him our everything. We acknowledge all we have– every good and perfect gift (James 1:17)– comes from Him. We worship the Giver, not the gifts. We appreciate all the blessings that God sends our way– good looks or smarts or talents or business acumen or educational opportunities– but we don’t turn good things into ultimate things.

The challenge today and every day is to make God your everything– to live in such a way that in everything He might have the supremacy (Colossians 1:18). Is He foremost in your life? Maybe you relate to the song “All I Want Is Everything.” The gospel says we find everything only when we give up everything and they got our everything.

QUESTION: What is your everything today? What normal human desires threaten to trump God in your life?

“Yet for us there is but one God, the father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through him all things came and through whom we live.” (1 Corinthians 8:6)

In 2004, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets came to Michigan and released the word that Michigan is The Voice to the nation. What does that mean? It means that we are forerunners. John the Baptist was the VOICE! We are a corporate John the Baptist who must cry in the middle of the wilderness, preparing the Way of the Lord. It means that we must speak out and model to the nation what God is about to do. Now we have entered a time. Prepare the Way! We are entering the time of greatest revival and awakening man has experienced.

The winds have started to blow over Michigan and they are about to hit hurricane force. Several prophets have recently released words that this is Detroit and Michigan’s time. Gina Gholston released a powerful prophetic word over Michigan in October2022. Many people thought it was related to the election. However, it’s a much bigger word than that. Because of what I’ve been sensing I called Ed Watts to get his take. Two weeks ago, we counseled together over Michigan and both agreed that we must now begin to stir up the prophetic words over Michigan, call them into being. In other words, we must gather the state and corporately release our voice, stirring up what God is saying. We set February 24, 7 PM as the night we would gather.

I started calling leaders in different areas of the state, including the Upper Peninsula. In two days at least 10 agreed to come and speak in Michigan. I knew there must be a cross-section of Michigan leaders including Black, White, Hispanic, First Nations, City, Rural, Male, Female and Multigenerational. All of them are leaders of churches or hubs, big churches, small churches. Some of those who have said I’m coming are: Apostles/Prophets Renee Growchowski, Jonathan Russo, Ed Watts, Keith Hudson, Joe Wenturine, Victor Torres, Asia Mchaney, Matt Jones, Bishop Andrew Merritt—father to Detroit, and several more. Chuck Pierce will be releasing a word to Michigan via video.

Ed Watts and I are hosting this one night gathering in Ann Arbor, MI, February 24, 2023, at Shekinah Christian Church, 4600 Scio Church Rd, 48103. Join us to corporately worship and release the Voice. This is a free event. However, do register so we know approximately how many people are coming and are prepared.

Day of equipping for reformers in Michigan. Pastor Peter Dresser is hosting Pastor Rob McCoy from California. He is the pastor of God Speak in California. His church came into the spotlight when it refused to close for Covid 19 restrictions and mandates imposed by the California government. He began spearheading a movement to oppose all government overreach which denies our religious freedoms. Recently, they went after the progressive liberalized voting laws in California. They decided to go after them and use them for their own benefit, which would be the church. He is coming to Michigan to show us how to do that very thing here! Click Here for Form
