THE CREATION IS A WITNESS

The creation around us and all that we observe with our five senses is a witness that God exists. For this reason alone, no man will have an excuse. We are all accountable to God as He has revealed himself in the creation. A point we can agree on is that there is complexity in the design of the creation we observe, or the intelligence behind it. A car is not manufactured by some explosion in a junkyard. A book isn’t created because some type of dynamite is detonated in a print shop. This is a primary reason I will never believe we come from some primordial sludge and were created by a big cosmic burp in the sky. Just as there is a watchmaker for a watch, God is the intelligence behind all creation.

As man walks the earth, creation is observable through his five senses. This brings man to a place where he asks, “Who made this?” If man is willing to listen, God is willing to answer the question. Nobody will stand before the throne of God and say I never knew that God existed. Creation is that very testament of God’s existence. There will be no excuses!

POINT TO PONDER: Imagine one day you and a friend are walking on a beach and you see a Mercedes Benz washing up onto the shore. What would you think if your friend said, “Look at what the ocean made”? You can wait millions of years and the ocean would not make one tire! Complexity in design is produced by intelligence – God.

CAMPUS REALITY SHOW – BLAST FROM THE PAST:

Michigan Technological University in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan hosts an ice carnival every February. It is an engineering school, and they build these massive, intricate ice sculptures. The designs are incredible, and the students work for weeks, using their intelligence and artistic talents. Years ago, I had preached open air on this campus for a number of years and decided to attend the carnival, knowing full well it ends up being one all-night party before the judging of the sculptures. During one of the ice carnivals, I decided to challenge the students on why they were taking so much time to build their ice sculptures. I said I had a solution, and it was a much easier way — they needed to apply what their professors were teaching them in the classroom.

I told the students they needed to obtain the use of a number of dump trucks, fill them with snow, and create one big snow pile. Then they would need some sticks of dynamite with long fuses to bury in the pile. Finally, they would light the fuse, stand back and cup their hands over their ears, and close their eyes. After the explosion, when they opened their eyes, they would see a beautiful ice sculpture where the snow pile had been. For some reason, the students did not accept my suggestion for creating an ice sculpture. They ridiculed and laughed at me, but yet this is what they believed regarding the creation of our universe. It reminded me of what Jesus said: They have eyes to see but they don’t see, and ears to hear but they don’t hear.

They (evolutionists) challenge science to prove the existence of God. But must we really light a candle to see the sun? It is in scientific honesty that I endorse the presentation of alternative theories for the origin of the universe, life, and man in the science classroom. It would be an error to overlook the possibility that the universe was planned rather than happening by chance.” – Dr. Wernher von Braun

Creation displays the awesomeness of God! With the discovery of high-powered telescopes and electron microscopes, we are witnessing the expanses of the heavens and minute details of our atomic structure. Try to imagine what is in the beyond of the beyond. There is no wall that says the universe stops here, because there is something behind that wall. When you look through a microscope, how small is small? We are now able to observe parts of the atoms that make up our bodies. But something makes up those parts of those atoms. Just as there is no end to bigness, there is no end to smallness. We presently are somewhere in between. The earth is a little dot in the Milky Way galaxy. There are multitudes of other galaxies in the universe, yet we relegate such importance to ourselves. The universe is so precise that any change in the earths and sun’s positions, alignment of the planets, or physical laws of the universe – such as gravity, electromagnetism, angular momentum, energy, mass, and light – would make life on this planet impossible. Everything is intricately connected through perfection in design. This did not all happen by chance! The fingerprint of a creator is on the universe.

We are introduced to God as Creator in the first sentence of the Bible. Bereshiet bara Elohim…”In the beginning God created”. But the Almighty’s relationship with His creation certainly doesn’t end there on the very first page. In fact, God created us for relationship with Himself. And one way we can become acquainted with His heart is through His handiwork. Just as you can learn a lot from an artist by closely scrutinizing their artwork, you can gain great insight into God by studying the universe He has made. The apostle Paul wrote that God gives vivid glimpses of Himself through the natural world: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–His eternal power and Divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

In other words, in your eyes! Look around! Sit up and pay attention! The natural world is constantly speaking volumes about God’s supernatural character. Expansive prairies and vastness of the night sky speak of God’s magnitude. Majestic waterfalls, F5tornadoes, massive hurricanes, and explosive volcanoes hint at God’s awesome power. And daily discoveries by microbiologists, oceanographers, and physicist provide a rich running commentary about God’s wisdom, complexity, and creativity. We see the same creativity and love in the animal kingdom. The protective care of a mother hen with her chicks offers insight into the heart of our heavenly Father. The tenderness of a lioness with her playful cubs echoes God’s grace and patience. Most significantly, astonishing abilities and exploits of people point us to a Designer who must be remarkable beyond words. In the mirror as in our neighbors, we see the marks of the one who made us: creativity, a longing for community, and the desire to make a difference. If you really want to get to know your creator, the first and most natural place to look is at His creation

In 2004, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets came to Michigan and released the word that Michigan is The Voice to the nation. What does that mean? It means that we are forerunners. John the Baptist was the VOICE! We are a corporate John the Baptist who must cry in the middle of the wilderness, preparing the Way of the Lord. It means that we must speak out and model to the nation what God is about to do. Now we have entered a time. Prepare the Way! We are entering the time of greatest revival and awakening man has experienced.

The winds have started to blow over Michigan and they are about to hit hurricane force. Several prophets have recently released words that this is Detroit and Michigan’s time. Gina Gholston released a powerful prophetic word over Michigan in October2022. Many people thought it was related to the election. However, it’s a much bigger word than that. I believe that we have entered our Kairos opportune moment where we must activate the words. (You can read Gina’s word here: )

Because of what I’ve been sensing I called Ed Watts to get his take. Two weeks ago, we counseled together over Michigan and both agreed that we must now begin to stir up the prophetic words over Michigan, call them into being. In other words, we must gather the state and corporately release our voice, stirring up what God is saying. We set February 24, 7 PM as the night we would gather.

I started calling leaders in different areas of the state, including the Upper Peninsula. In two days at least 10 agreed to come and speak in Michigan. I knew there must be a cross-section of Michigan leaders including Black, White, Hispanic, First Nations, City, Rural, Male, Female and Multigenerational. All of them are leaders of churches or hubs, big churches, small churches. Some of those who have said I’m coming are: Apostles/Prophets Renee Growchowski, Jonathan Russo, Ed Watts, Keith Hudson, Joe Wenturine, Victor Torres, Asia Mchaney, Matt Jones, Bishop Andrew Merritt—father to Detroit, and several more. Chuck Pierce will be releasing a word to Michigan via video.

Ed Watts and I are hosting this one night gathering in Ann Arbor, MI, February 24, 2023, at Shekinah Christian Church, 4600 Scio Church Rd, 48103. Join us to corporately worship and release the Voice. This is a free event. However, do register so we know how many people are coming and are prepared.

His church came into the spotlight when it refused to close for Covid 19 restrictions and mandates imposed by the California government. He began spearheading a movement to oppose all government overreach which denies or religious freedoms. Recently, they went after the progressive liberalized voting laws in California.
