Tonight’s Call – THE BATTLE FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM…APOSTLE ELLIS SMITH!
The battle for religious freedom is at a critical stage in Michigan and across the United States. Any freedom is hard to get, but easy to lose. We must not be silent at this time! Freedom is lost when people are not aware of the process of its removal. First of all, being ignorant of what is taking place is one part. Distraction is used to keep people from seeing the truth of what is happening. People perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Not understanding our basic rights and the root of why they were given contributes to that loss. God shed his favor upon this nation to be a beacon of light to the world in the establishment of our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. No nation in the world has this foundation of freedom provided for its people. The United States is celebrated as the gold standard when it comes to freedom and citizenship rights. We were given this to be conveyors of the gospel to the world.
This blessing is being eroded through apathy, ignorance and by a nation which is choosing to reject a Biblical Worldview. A nation will go into bondage by the choices it makes. We must realize there is an all-out assault on our nation when the COUP of 2020 election accelerated a domino effect of destruction of our nation. The governmental mountain must be taken back by freedom loving people. None of our rights are absolute as the government is attempting to limit all of our freedoms under various circumstances today. How many times have we said the church has failed in its responsibility to make sure the nation is morally sound which allows the blessings from God. The church must be quickened and rise up. When depravity sets in upon the people God’s hand of blessing will lift off a nation. We have reached a point of no return where God and His grace is giving us another chance. We must intensify our prayers followed by vigorous action.
Thank God for the signs of revival breaking out in America. This should give hope to all of us. We must not settle back and allow others to do what we know inside what is right to do. Our very freedoms are at stake. So, we must ask ourselves what can I do. We all have a stake in this. I am always keeping in mind my children and grandchildren. Look what the American Revolution did for many generations in the future. We are in the same situation now engaging in a different warfare which always has been spiritual but has been intensified in this present day.
Small is the next big and we have been called as that remnant to bring the very change that is needed. Never underestimate what you can do as little things will add up to be something of great importance as we work together in the body of Christ. Stay the course and hold the line!

When we were up to no good, we prefer to go unnoticed. But who wants to be overlooked when life is unraveling? The encouraging story of Hagar is for everyone who’s ever felt invisible. Everything changed for this Egyptian servant when she was given by her barren mistress, Sarah, to Abraham in order to conceive and heir for him. Hagar’s affection for Sarah quickly morphed into condensation was Hagar became pregnant with Abraham’s child. This led to abusive behavior at the hands of Sarah. When the harassment became intolerable, Hagar abruptly fled into the wilderness without money, food, water, or a plan. Trudging all alone and pregnant through a desert wasteland, no doubt feeling forgotten, Hagar stumbled upon a desert spring. When she stopped drinking, she found more than refreshing water. She found supernatural help! In angelic form, the Lord met her. He reassured her with lavish promises. He promised that her son would live and become a father with descendants too numerous to count. Then He sent her back home filled and strengthened with new hope. Is it any wonder Hagar gave the Lord the name “The God who sees me”?
Implicit in this name is God’s overriding compassion. When Hagar had no idea where to go or what to do next, she was reminded that God is real, that He sees the needs of His creatures, and that He draws near to help. God doesn’t just glance our way; long and hard, He studies the difficulties we face. And then He acts. Do you feel like you’re alone, and nobody really sees much less understands, the troubles you face? Maybe you feel like injustice is rapid in your life. Even in such dark times, trust that God is El Roi. He sees– and He sees you. He looks intently. He knows this. He studies everything and misses nothing. Others may overlook you or forget you, but God never will. And because He sees you, He knows what you need and gladly provides the comfort you are looking for.
QUESTION: Where do you feel most helpless and alone? In what ways would it comfort you to know that God sees and intimately knows your situation?
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her; You are the God who sees me, for she said, I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13)

In 2004, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets came to Michigan and released the word that Michigan is The Voice to the nation. What does that mean? It means that we are forerunners. John the Baptist was the VOICE! We are a corporate John the Baptist who must cry in the middle of the wilderness, preparing the Way of the Lord. It means that we must speak out and model to the nation what God is about to do. Prepare the Way! We are entering the time of greatest revival and awakening man has experienced.
The winds have started to blow over Michigan and they are about to hit hurricane force. Several prophets have recently released words that this is Detroit and Michigan’s time. Gina Gholston released a powerful prophetic word over Michigan in October2022. Many people thought it was related to the election. However, it’s a much bigger word than that. I believe that we have entered our Kairos opportune moment where we must activate the words. (You can read Gina’s word here)
Because of what I’ve been sensing I called Ed Watts to get his take. Two weeks ago we counseled together over Michigan and both agreed that we must now begin to stir up the prophetic words over Michigan, call them into being. In other words, we must gather the state and corporately release our voice, stirring up what God is saying. We set February 24, 7 PM as the night we would gather.
I started calling leaders in different areas of the state, including the Upper Peninsula. In two days at least 10 agreed to come and speak in Michigan. I knew there must be a cross-section of Michigan leaders including Black, White, Hispanic, First Nations, City, Rural, Male, Female and Multigenerational. All of them are leaders of churches or hubs, big churches, small churches. Some of those who have said I’m coming are: Apostles/Prophets Renee Growchowski, Jonathan Russo, Ed Watts, Keith Hudson, Joe Wenturine, Victor Torres, Asia Mchaney, Matt Jones, Bishop Andrew Merritt—father to Detroit, and several more. Chuck Pierce will be releasing a word to Michigan via video.
Ed Watts and I are hosting this one night gathering in Ann Arbor, MI, February 24, 2023, at Shekinah Christian Church, 4600 Scio Church Rd, 48103. Join us to corporately worship and release the Voice. This is a free event. However, do register so we know how many people are coming and are prepared. Gather everyone you can, come and let’s shake the heavens with our worship and our voice!

Day of equipping for reformers in Michigan. Pastor Peter Dresser is hosting Pastor Rob McCoy from California. He is the pastor of God Speak in California. His church came into the spotlight when it refused to close for Covid 19 restrictions and mandates imposed by the California government. He began spearheading a movement to oppose all government overreach which denies religious freedoms. Recently, they went after the progressive liberalized voting laws in California. They decided to go after them and use them for their own benefit which would be the church. He is coming to Michigan to show us how to do that very thing here! – Click Here

PRAYER IN THE STATE CAPITOL MARCH 9TH 12 NOON – 2 PM – ROOM 426
The second Thursday of each month we would be praying inside the state capitol building in Lansing. The Michigan House of Prayer will be leading in room 426. The meeting is from 12 Noon-2 PM. We will be setting up at 11:30 AM. We will be praying for righteousness to return to our state. Praying for any sick legislators, staff members, or personnel will also be part of our efforts. Of course, any crisis situations that will have risen on a state or national level will be covered. We will be praying over legislators to make wise and godly decisions. Praise and worship will be part of the format of our gatherings. We all know that God inhabits our praises! This is a sacrifice of our time and resources but Michigan hangs in the balance! We are believing for signs, miracles, and wonders to break out. This type of outbreak will get our legislators attention in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will go forth.
