Today’s Call – DEALING WITH OFFENSE/WOUNDED-NESS/FORGIVENESS!
We see signs of revival and awakening. For us to see the fruition of our prayers we all must individually deal with offense, wounded-ness and apply forgiveness to any situation where we have been personally hurt. A cornered wounded animal is hard to deal with as they are ready to attack and remove the obstacle in front of them at all cost. Is this instinct or emotion? We know as human beings it is the emotional aspect which can be used to destroy any calling in God that we have if offense and wounded-ness is not dealt with. When offended it is an experience of negative emotions. These negative feelings and emotions are caused by a word, action, or statement that conflicts with our expectations and what we believe to be the right behavior, and a moral and acceptable sense. Let’s be honest, some people are easily offended. It is likely that an individual’s ego may be more vulnerable than we can assume. Have you ever been in a situation where you have said something to an individual and they were offended? Your motive was not to offend but they took it as such. When someone is offended, they become irritable, testy, touchy, upset, and angered.
OFFENSE: It is to strike against, displease, to make angry, to do harm, to a friend, and cause someone to sin.
As Christians, we know that forgiveness and blessing those who have cursed us will bring favor of the Lord into our lives. How difficult that is! Do you carry a sting in your heart while thinking about someone who has hurt you or breached your trust? Forgiving others allows us to overcome feelings of anger, bitterness, or revenge. Forgiveness can heal spiritual wounds, bring the peace, and love that only God can give. Those who have offended another must take responsibility for it. Don’t make assumptions and don’t try to shift the blame. Make it clear that you regret your actions and that you are sincerely sorry. We must realize there are times where it is difficult for a person to ask for forgiveness because of pride and they have difficulty admitting any wrongdoing. This is where humility makes a difference!
What will fuel the revival fires that are broken out across the world and is creating a “Upper Room Prayer” across the world is brokenness, forgiveness, compassion for all, and of course repentance. I am being told that this movement is a “Presence” movement where doors of reconciliation have been opened. The enemy of our souls at the same time is relentlessly causing division and spewing hate where we will rise up against one another, be accusers of the brethren, speak curses, and walk in bitterness towards those who have offended us. The Bible teaches not to bear grudges and ignore insults against us. We are in an age of insults and offense. We as Christians must remember it is a sin to allow other people to offend us and stop us from doing all what God wants us to do or has called us to do.
As we stay the course and hold the line love must be at the forefront!
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” (Matthew 6:14)
“If your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone; if he shall hear you, you have gained a brother.” (Matthew 18:15)
“A brother offended is harder to be one than a strong city; and their contentions are like the bars of the castle.” (Proverbs 18:19)
“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.” (Matthew 24:10)
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-6)

JANUARY 6TH MICHOP PRAYER GATHERING REPORT – Important LINK –
NAMES OF GOD SERIES – CHRISTOPHER HUDSON ELOHAY SELICHOT…THE GOD WHO IS READY TO FORGIVE!
Just as important as realizing you have a need, is knowing where to turn for help. How happy we are with friends who point us in the direction of a good doctor, a crackerjack lawyer, a competent accountant, and a dependable and fair repairman. We all need advice on where to look and where to find help. In a spiritual sense, we all need a skilled repairman– someone who can eradicate our sins. The people of Israel knew this and depended on God to provide the forgiveness they needed. It’s one of the ways they kept their dependence on God front and center in their mind was to celebrate solemn festivals. During a solemn festival at which the people of God were confessing their great sin and their desperate need for cleansing, the nation’s religious leaders stood and, through song, pointed all eyes to Elohay Selichot, the God who forgives. Their song recorded in Nehemiah 9 details God’s faithfulness to His people. How breathtaking and hard to comprehend! The Israelites had a long track record which was more like a rap sheet of being hardheaded, hardhearted, prone to forget, and eager to rebel. At one point, they were insanely intent on returning to a life of slavery and captivity. God could certainly justify punishing the people for their disrespect and lack of gratitude.
Yet known as God’s character. Pay attention to His actions. Instead of anger, He is full of grace. He loses compassion and overwhelms His chosen ones with an ocean of love. And why? Because He is Elohay Selichot; He pardons. Maybe your life today is marked by guilt and shame. You are overcome by regret. If you see God at all, you see– and fear– His holiness and justice. Perhaps you’re nervous, waiting for the gavel to fall, dreading the treatment you know deep down you really deserve. Good news! God is Elohay Selichot. He does not treat us as our sins deserve (Psalm 103:10). He forgives. In Christ He has provided a way for us to be fully and finally forgiven. When you see the great sin in your own heart, lift your eyes and see the One whose grace is greater than all your sin.
QUESTION: Why is it hard for people to believe that God is eager to forgive? How do we allow our own feelings of shame and guilt blindness to God’s mercy?
“They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff necked and, in the rebellion, appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore, you did not deserve them.” (Nehemiah 9:17)

In 2004, Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets came to Michigan and released the word that Michigan is The Voice to the nation. What does that mean? It means that we are forerunners. John the Baptist was the VOICE! We are a corporate John the Baptist who must cry in the middle of the wilderness, preparing the Way of the Lord. It means that we must speak out and model to the nation what God is about to do. Prepare the Way! We are entering the time of greatest revival and awakening man has experienced.
The winds have started to blow over Michigan and they are about to hit hurricane force. Several prophets have recently released words that this is Detroit and Michigan’s time. Gina Gholston released a powerful prophetic word over Michigan in October2022. Many people thought it was related to the election. However, it’s a much bigger word than that. I believe that we have entered our Kairos opportune moment where we must activate the words. (You can read Gina’s word here)
Because of what I’ve been sensing I called Ed Watts to get his take. Two weeks ago, we counseled together over Michigan and both agreed that we must now begin to stir up the prophetic words over Michigan, call them into being. In other words, we must gather the state and corporately release our voice, stirring up what God is saying. We set February 24, 7 PM as the night we would gather.
I started calling leaders in different areas of the state, including the Upper Peninsula. In two days at least 10 agreed to come and speak in Michigan. I knew there must be a cross-section of Michigan leaders including Black, White, Hispanic, First Nations, City, Rural, Male, Female and Multigenerational. All of them are leaders of churches or hubs, big churches, small churches. Some of those who have said I’m coming are: Apostles/Prophets Renee Growchowski, Jonathan Russo, Ed Watts, Keith Hudson, Joe Wenturine, Victor Torres, Asia Mchaney, Matt Jones, Bishop Andrew Merritt—father to Detroit, and several more. Chuck Pierce will be releasing a word to Michigan via video.
Ed Watts and I are hosting this one night gathering in Ann Arbor, MI, February 24, 2023, at Shekinah Christian Church, 4600 Scio Church Rd, 48103. His church came into the spotlight when it refused to close for Covid 19 restrictions and mandates imposed by the California government. He began spearheading a movement to oppose all government overreach which denies religious freedoms. Recently, they went after the progressive liberalized voting laws in California. PRAYER IN THE STATE CAPITOL MARCH 9TH 12 NOON – 2 PM – ROOM 426
The second Thursday of each month we would be praying inside the state capitol building in Lansing. The Michigan House of Prayer will be leading in room 426. The meeting is from 12 Noon-2 PM. We will be setting up at 11:30 AM. We will be praying for righteousness to return to our state. Praying for any sick legislators, staff members, or personnel will also be part of our efforts. Of course, any crisis situations that will have risen on a state or national level will be covered. We will be praying over legislators to make wise and godly decisions. Praise and worship will be part of the format of our gatherings. We all know that God inhabits our praises! This is a sacrifice of our time and resources, but Michigan hangs in the balance! We are believing for signs, miracles, and wonders to break out. This type of outbreak will get our legislators attention in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will go forth.
